Driving through the pleasant streets of Alwarpet, towards the end, between two trees, stands a beautiful white house. The Summer House, a sophisticated cafe serving amazing continental and Italian food.

The Summerhouse also shares its space with "Two Trees" Which is a start-up providing workspace for Entrepreneurs.

I was invited over to try out their food as a part of soft launch along with other foodies.

As I entered, I was amazed by the peaceful ambience and that one Painting on the wall reminded me of myself. A beautiful and creative art by the Owner herself. There are so many things Hidden in the painting that you gotta figure out. Ask Mathangi (owner) for help if so.

Moving on to the Food, Array of dishes started to flood in.

For the starters, We had,

Arancini | Avocado and Corn Crostini -  | Truffle Fries | Fish Fritters | Crab Cake with lemon garlic aioli  |  Chicken Taco with Thecha and sour cream

I must admit, The food here was amazing and exotic. Arancini, more like deep fried cheese balls stuffed with risotto.  Avocado and Corn Crostini stood out for me.Crostini with the Mexican goddess (avocado) and sautéed corn.Though its veg, I preferred this over other nonveg dishes.Perfectly made with the proper amount of ingredients.Fries with Truffle oil.Tasted more like normal fries as we took some time having it.It is supposed to be had ASAP to experience the truffle flavour. Fish fritters were good along with the dip they served with. Crab Cake was served with lemon garlic aioli. The taste of garlic in the sauce went on well with the Crabcake.

For the mains,

Creamy mushroom Crepe | Caprese crepe - pesto with tomatoes and mozzarella | Carbonara Crepe - Pork chorizo | Cacio e Pepe Spaghetti (Pepper and Parmesan) | Aglio e olio penne | Posh mushroom (penne with truffle oil) | Kimchi udon with Korean fried chicken

This place sure does have amazing crepes and pasta. Firstly, I should give a shout out to The Truffle oil based  Aglio e olio penne. As it came towards, the aroma of it just took over all of my senses.A Proper truffle oil penne that tasted so satisfying and felt sophisticated. Any Truffle oil based dishes are supposed to be had immediately after its served. So don't waste your time admiring it.I also loved the Carbonara Crepe which is bacon based. Perfectly textured and tasted amazing!

Also tried some of there Beverages,

Salted Caramel Milkshake | Peanut butter and Nutella milkshake | Vietnamese Ice Coffee

Milkshakes were pretty normal, Nothing to rave about. But the Vietnamese Ice coffee was amazing. Its a must try if you're a cold coffee lover.

Ending a good meal with Desserts,

Nutella Crepe | Nutella and Peanut butter Crepe | Salted caramel Crepe with Butterscotch Ice cream

A place serving amazing crepes won't do justice if they don't serve desert crepes. If you're a usual Chocolate lover, Go for the Nutella based crepe but if you're wanting something different, you must try their  Salted caramel Crepe with Butterscotch Ice cream. Tastes so heavenly that you won't stop digging into it.

Overall, A very peaceful place with perfect Ambiance for some sophesticated evening snacking along with your homies. Also, this place is partly owned by...

Been on my bookmarks for way too long. Finally made it to this quirky, modern and beautifully lit, cosy place. Scrumptious food and excellent ambience. Their wall art is super impressive and catchy as well.

We ordered Chicken Ravioli, Affogato with Ice-cream and Caramel Sauce, Theobroma Cake, and Carrot Cake.

The Chicken Ravioli was the highlight. The dish that stole my heart. Perfectly made. Extremely delicious and mouth-watering. The sauce was very flavourful and had the perfect consistency. A dish that purely transported me to the seventh heaven.

I loved even the Mushroom Ravioli in my next visit here. The Dynamite Prawns were also bomb! But, the quantity can definitely be improved. The Cilantro Fish also looked quite impressive!

The Affogato, an Italian dessert with a scoop of Vanilla Ice-cream and a shot of Espresso was just so perfect. I also tried the Cinnamon variant but it is surely not my cup of coffee. I found the cinnamon to be a bit overpowering.

The Lemon Cilantro Fish was quite interesting and the Panko Fried Chicken was delicious. The Spring Rolls were crunchy, fresh and flavoursome.

Theobroma is always heaven. This layered cake was absolutely toothsome. I felt that the Quantity was way too less for the price we paid.

The Carrot Cake was so rich and tasted so good. Absolute bliss. Not all restaurants serve this beauty. A cake which can be so perfect with a cup of coffee.

TSE being quite pricy should be a bit more generous in their quantity. Taste-wise, absolutely loved every bit of it.

I am definitely going back soon to indulge my heart and soul in some gorgeous...

This place always had been on my bucket list and i got to visit it today.. The place was situated in a calm area and the place was also calm.. I really loved their place and their ambience was soo lovely and quiet.. I really loved their presentation on the environment.. So coming to the menu, the menu wasn't that vast but was picky..

For the starters, we ordered The Peppers and Quiso.. It's a garlic toasted bread with cheesy sauce which had bell peppers in it.. It was amazing and the cheese was soo good with the toast and can be eaten just like that too..

For the Mains, we ordered The Kimichi Fried Rice add on Chicken and Chicken Ravioli..

The Kimichi Rice was made from Jasmine rice ans and some spices.. It was blend as well as tummy filling good..

The Chicken Ravioli was my favourite, it tasted absolute (actually it was suggested by the person who took our order). The mascaporne sauce went on well with the chicken stuffed pasta..

For the Desserts, we ordered Theobroma cake and Blueberry Cheese Cake..

Theobroma is my all time favourite and here they nailed it, i literally loved the cake soo much, each and every bite of it..

The blueberry cheese cake was splendid, it tasted sour as well as creamy, just meltdown my mouth..

The service over there was good.. People were friendly and courteous..

I would love to visit this place again and try the other items..
