2 suggestions :
a) pls inculcate more better cleanliess habits … example : the counter on ur stall and on footpath needs to be cleaned in better manner with good cloth by your boy. he just moves the waste / leftover on the counter to ground where ur customers would stand to eat. pls get that ground area cleaned as well. On the SMC side garden - open patch behind ur stall compound railing, many of ur used plates were lying. not a good sign.
b) instead of using use and throw plates, try proper cutlery, steel plates and spoons with proper cleaned washed refill arrangement. Don't know how you'll be able to manage, but that will definitely enhance your sales… since use and throw plastic plates for hot food into it is not at all the right way ahead as it is one of the cause of many life threatning conditions / diseases. better aviod it. Also pls keep tissues😊 u may charge more per plate for all above, as ur CORE food content has taste and quality. Optics and hygiene कृपया improve ...
Read moreI recently discovered a fantastic Misal shop in my neighborhood, run by a hardworking couple passionate about authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. The moment I approached their cart, the delicious aroma drew me in. Their friendly demeanor makes you feel welcome, and they are eager to share stories about their food. The Misal itself is a revelation. Perfectly spiced and hearty, the curry is topped with crunchy farsan, fresh onions, and coriander, creating a delightful combination. Their homemade chutneys add an extra layer of flavor, and I love that you can customize the spice level. What impressed me most is their commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The quality shines through, and the prices are incredibly reasonable, making it an affordable treat. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, with locals gathering to enjoy their meals. Supporting this couple feels rewarding, as they are dedicated to growing their business. If you're looking for authentic Misal, I highly recommend checking out this shop. You'll enjoy a delicious meal while supporting a passionate small business. I’ll definitely...
Read moreFinally a place that makes Misal that’s not spicy but tasty. The beauty about the misal is that the spices are the right amount and tarri is not overly spicy, although you can ask for extra to make it burning hot spicy.
There’s taste in the masala, there’s good amount of sprouts and that’s boiled well and also it filled with farsan and sev that’s fresh. This place gets the spices and masalas right and that’s what makes it so popular. Also, it is not heavy on your stomach and feels good after eating it rather than having to burn your mouth and lips with spices.
I even liked the vada here. The potatoes are well mashed and masala in it again was amazing. It served with dry red chutney, green thetcha chutney & tamarind sweet chutney. This is not talked as much but equally as good as the missal.
It is a food van, so there’s place for 6 people to stand and eat. Seen a lot of swiggy delivery partners around so best to order or take a takeaway. A must try misal and vada pav...
