Haldiram's — Restaurant in Thane

This is a standalone restaurant near the food court in a sad mall in Thane, with exclusive seating. You've got to order at the till, pay, and then the food's brought to your table. Food is hot, good looking, and edible. They've adapted chaat well for the fast food format. Everything including green chutney comes in plastic bags and these are emptied into the stainless steel tubs that are behind the glass barrier. Service is fairly quick. Colour scheme is like a baby's dream - bright, in-your-face green, yellow, and red. Tables and floor are fairly clean. Airconditioning is poor. Not having walls may be one reason. Chaat is customisation-intensive. This impersonal, clinical, antiseptic manner of serving chaat makes it less exciting. There's lots of staff milling about but doing exactly what I couldn't understand. They don't even smile. Overall, the place didn't make much of an impression. Won't seek this out like our fav...

Average food and bad service. The most expensive water OUCH i have ever had in any mall restaurant is at Haldiram Korum Mall. Hooping price of 76rs + tax 🫣 for 1 litre of water bottle. When we requested the cashier to take it back as we were not informed about the price while buying (and we never asked because generally mall food court type restaurants sell bisleri or similar brands water worth 10-30rs) he outright denied and was absolutely confident that customers can't do anything about it. I NEVER THOUGHT OF GETTING SUCH ATTITUDE FROM OUR VERY OWN INDIAN BRAND HALDIRAMS.

I do not recommend going to Haldiram Korum Mall as they are cheating on the name of water which ideally is supposed to be...

This is an outlet of Haldirams in the Korum mall on 3rd floor. This is a pure veg food outlet having an amazing variety of Chaat , Biryanis , Thalis , South Indian dishes , Snacks , Sandwiches , deserts , hot and cold beverages and rice bowls !
