I recently visited Jay Malhar Restaurant in Thane, and I must say it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming ambiance set the perfect mood for a delightful meal.
The food was outstanding – every dish was packed with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. The seafood and non-veg specialties were particularly delicious, with fresh ingredients and well-balanced spices. The biryani and tandoori dishes are a must-try!
The service was top-notch. The staff was courteous, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Even during peak hours, they managed the crowd efficiently, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Read moreWe visited Hotel Malhar to crave on seafood. Ambience wise the hotel is average. With limited items on the menu, we ordered Bombil fry, Prawns (with prawns thick gravy, which they call as Prawns lapeta) n Pompret Thali.
Bombil fry- were just deep fried, no marination at all.
Pomfret Thali- Pomfret too was sliced n deep fried with no marination. Thali was served with 2 bland tasteless curry, 1 bhakri n rice.
Prawns Thali- Prawns masala was good with a homely taste served with an additional gravy, rice n 1Bhakri.
Overall, wouldn't recommend this outlet for seafood but can surely be a good one for Chicken as most of the customers were seen ordering Chicken Thali. One can try...
