Write a review for purnpoli ghar. The unhygienic place from outside to inside. Storefront was not clean at all the dirty marked glass storefront. Improper outside so call seating which is actually a bench and many flies on standing dining table. We ordered modak and purnpoli. Puranpoli was full of maida and less stuffed with puran. It was packed cold only. Modak had coconut stuffing but it tasted as if coconut milk was taken out and and only leftover was used to make filling. Receptionist had no interest in taking order and serving. It was just an awful experience.

Hereās a sharp and honest review you can use forĀ Purnpoli Ghar:
Review: āāāāā (1/5) I had an extremely disappointing experience atĀ Purnpoli Ghar. Right from the outside, the place looked unhygienic ā dirty glass on the storefront, unkempt surroundings, and a so-called āseating areaā that was just a bench placed outside. The standing table was swarming with flies, which made it unappealing and uncomfortable to eat there.
We ordered the puranpoli and modak, hoping for some traditional taste, but were let down badly. The puranpoli was cold, poorly packed, and mostly maida with hardly any stuffing. The modak had a dry coconut filling that tasted like it was made from leftover coconut after milk extraction ā absolutely no richness or freshness in the flavor.
To top it off, the receptionist showed zero interest in taking or serving the order. The lack of cleanliness, poor food quality, and indifferent service made this visit thoroughly awful. Would...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreInteresting concept. Saw the chain first in Bangalore and happened to meet Mr. Shetty (marketing - Puranpoli Ghar) at their Thane branch. The idea behind the chain according to Mr. Shetty was to take the pain and time out of preparing these staple festival and celebration food items so family members can spend time together while receiving the same high quality food. Personal observations: the range of puranpoli flavours was quite wide and I was informed these are not essences but made from real raw ingredients. The range of native homemade spice mixes was also a welcome addition. There is also a range of other savoury and sweet snacks available on site from challis and chips to Anaras and some of these are staples and not mainstream sweetmeats making them real treats. The puranpolis however were a bit on the thin and small side and not the traditional style so felt a bit odd but then it was a different and tasty take on adding flavours like jackfruit, coconut and even...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePuranpoli quality is 5 star no doubt. But my 1 star rating is for the pathetic management they have. There is no coordination between the cashier, the person who takes our coupen & the rest of their team. Especially one curly hair guy named Ravi if I'm not wrong, is not at all professional!! And he scans the ladies customers from top to bottom & hence forgets the sequence of the orders & then shouts at the innocent staff. The Puranpoli Ghar really seems like Big Boss ka ghar where all the members of the house are shouting at each other, blaming each others & this is very depressing for the customer to see.
Please hire some professional staff or at least replace that weird guy Ravi who behaves way too friendly with the customers & way too bossy with...
