Overhyped: No taste and quality as compared to high prices.
Visited for dinner today. Ordered two chicken thali. Each chicken thali costing 530 + tax. Naturally, we expected good quality and sufficient quantity of chicken. Unfortunately, the experience was horrible. Ordered Fried masala papad, roasted papad was delivered by sprinkling unadministered amount of red chilly powder. We ignored it, as we were very hungry. But we didn't know that worst was waiting for us, even after clearly informing the waiter to prepare one chicken thali no spicy, to which the waiter overconfidentlly and bit arrogantly responded as he understood the request, ended up in delivering spicy thali. While eating the food, we didn't felt it spicy in the beginning, but later it was unbearable because spices used in the thali were so such that the chicken was tasting bitter and after taste of each bite was hitting the throat badly. When we reported this to waiter, he did sheer formality by offering to replace the thali but we refused because till then we lost interest and had no patience to wait another 15-20 minutes because we were in hurry. We struggled to finish the food because barring 1-2 pieces, most of the chicken pieces were like waste bone pieces. Rice was very dry and total tasteless, curry meant for eating with rice was bitter, soul curry was unusually spicy. In short, the food was literally a punishment. Had we have enough time we would have made the staff to replace the thali's. We told the same to waiter, then waiter again tried to show their generosity by offering cheap vanilla icecream complementary as a sheer formality. We refused that too, because we didn't go there to eat their so called free ice-cream. So, this is how we end up paying almost 1200 for worst food and most annoying fact was that though we didn't make the staff to replace the thali, they didn't even bother to return the gesture by atleast deducting the price of thali which was not delivered as per the specific requirements.
Staff and Management must learn what is customer service and satisfaction and how it is delivered by being truly attentive and concerned with the customer's expectations in order to enhance their experience. It is necessary to respect customer's time and money which they are investing in visiting and waiting for the food at your place. If you cannot delivered quality good as per customer's specific requests then you are cheating on your profession and mere looting your customers by giving third grade and roadside food at...

A Seafood Journey at Mi Hi Koli: Promfret Perfection and Solkadi Bliss
Mi Hi Koli isn't just a restaurant; it's an invitation to a coastal feast for the senses. From the moment I stepped in, the vibrant Maharashtrian dĂŠcor and warm aromas transported me to a beachside village. But the true star of the show was the food!
My taste buds embarked on a delicious adventure with the promfret fry. This succulent fish, cooked to crispy perfection, was bursting with flavor. The marinade danced on my tongue with its symphony of spices, each bite leaving me wanting more. The star of the dish, however, was the freshness of the promfret itself. It tasted like it had just jumped from the ocean onto my plate!
No Maharashtrian seafood experience is complete without solkadi, and Mi Hi Koli's rendition did not disappoint. This creamy coconut concoction, infused with just the right amount of kokum and green chilies, was the perfect counterpoint to the spicy flavors of the promfret. It was refreshing, calming, and oh-so-delicious. Every sip was an explosion of tangy, creamy goodness.
Beyond the promfret and solkadi, the menu offered a delectable array of other dishes, each showcasing the unique Koli style of cooking. From fiery Prawns Koli to the melt-in-your-mouth Surmai Fry, every dish was a testament to the restaurant's focus on fresh ingredients and authentic flavors.
The service at Mi Hi Koli was equally delightful. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
If you're looking for an authentic and flavorful Maharashtrian seafood experience, Mi Hi Koli is a must-visit. Their promfret is a masterpiece, and their solkadi is pure magic. Be prepared to embark on a culinary journey that will leave you...
