Hotel Swad — Restaurant in Thane

Not so good restaurant, we were all disappointed with the service and the quality of the food. Last night my family had dinner in this place as this very near to our house we prefer, but the food was not so good and each and every item we order ther was something missing in it. Firstly we order starter which was masala Papad, but in that also the onion and tomatos we not at all fresh, i think it was cut in the morning and kept open. Which had loss all its flavours and taste. They it was veg Manchurian which was ok ok only. As the Manchurian taste was good but the gravy with it was not cooked properly and was having the rawness to it. They it was potato crispy which was just French fries sautéed in crispy gravy with red colour nothing more than that. Then it was the time for main course and which i feel i shouldn’t order. First it was panner tikka masala, which was good and Veg Hyderabadi which not great we have left half the plate as no one like it. The Chesse garlic naan was also ok only not stuffed with cheese inside. And the main dish which all was disappointed was the dal Khichadi. It was so slurry that we all had and feeling that we are having dal rice not Khichadi. This dish took over 10-15 min to come which was normal, but what we got was not ok also. Later on sharing our feedback the waiter that this not ok we cant have it. The manager came and told us that he will make the other one and give within 5 min he came with half bowl with some rice adding to the empty bowl and serve to us. Which is a kind of insult to the customer as we are giving you some. First of all, I found the place to be quite ambient. The service is super fast and I had to actually leave soon and so asked for the Paneer Sizzler to be done in 30 mins, got it in 20 mins which is super appreciated. While the taste was amazing and lip-smacking, the service added a really nice touch to the experience.

For ₹460 including taxes for a Paneer Sizzler and a Lassi, I feel it is the perfect place for couples.

However the location may be a different perspective altogether. If you have a bike or a car, then I'm not sure where you'd park because the place is pretty crammed up. You would either have to park somewhere ahead and then walk back.

Again, the food matters! So don't skip going here just because of the parking space. You would definitely love...

Ordered Lassi in the morning of 6th October 2024.

The order was taken and waited for 10minutes . Still Lassi wasn't served . Asked on the order , as tea was also ordered. Again that time it was not informed on anything .

Waiting for another 5 minutes, and asking again it was said that Lassi can not be served as no person available.

Customer satisfaction is not at all present . If it was not available it should have been said as soon as it was known and not wait for 20 minutes and then inform after being asked .

Worst service and will not recommend to come to this hotel to...
