Subject: Complaint Regarding Poor Food Quality and Unprofessional Service at KFC, Korum Mall, Thane
Dear KFC Customer Service,
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had at your KFC outlet located at Korum Mall, Thane West, near Cadbury Junction. As a regular customer and a frequent visitor to KFC, I have always enjoyed your food, but my recent visit left me extremely disappointed.
On the day of my visit, I ordered the Bucket Meal priced at ₹299, which cost me ₹314 including GST. Unfortunately, the food I received was of very poor quality. After taking the second bite of my chicken, I noticed a foul smell, which led me to believe that the chicken was made from expired or outdated raw materials. As someone who visits KFC twice a week and is a big fan of your chicken, I could immediately tell that something was wrong.
I approached the reception staff politely and requested that the affected piece of chicken be replaced. They obliged and replaced the piece. However, when I started eating the new pieces, I encountered the same issue. The chicken again had a terrible smell and tasted horrible, which I believe was due to it being made from expired or spoiled raw materials, specifically the chicken wings.
At this point, I requested that the quality control staff be informed. A staff member named Shaikh Shahid (Employee Code: 52286) came to speak with me. However, he refused to acknowledge the problem, claiming that the issue was caused by overcooking and not expired chicken. Despite my polite request, he refused to smell or test the chicken for himself. He also mentioned that he is a vegetarian and did not offer any other solutions to resolve the issue.
To make matters worse, when I requested a refund, the staff denied my request, stating that since I had consumed part of the food, they could not issue a refund. Additionally, I asked for a copy of the bill, but when I went to retrieve it, I found that my food had been disposed of without my consent.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the food quality, the lack of customer care, and the unprofessional behavior of the staff. As a loyal customer of KFC, this experience has left me very upset, and I no longer feel confident in the food safety standards at this location.
I request a formal apology and a refund for the unsatisfactory meal. I would also appreciate a prompt investigation into this matter to ensure that such an experience does not happen to other customers in the future.u

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your Korum Mall (Thane) outlet on 4th May 2025. Despite it being a Sunday with heavy customer footfall, the store was clearly understaffed. I had to wait approximately 25 minutes just to place my order, which I finally managed to do around 10:10 PM, and then received my order at 10:30 PM—a total waiting time of nearly 60 minutes for a simple order of French Fries, Chicken Popcorn, and a Mirinda (which was not available and replaced with Pepsi without informing me).
Additionally, the Chicken Popcorn was undercooked, raising serious concerns about food quality and hygiene.
This experience was extremely disappointing and far from the standards one expects from a reputed brand like KFC. I hope appropriate action will be taken to ensure better service and food quality...
