Around trichy, IMO: It's safe to say one of the best if not, the best cafe for a scrumptious experience. Would love to dwell on the details actually. THEME AND LOCALISATION : Located at Cantonment with ample nearby parking spaces. Ather smart charging pod present! The first entrance is 15 to 20 pax indoor eatery conjoint to the bakery. An upper party room I believe is present. The walk to the outdoor eatery is lovely. Lush garden themed sitting with a miniature fish pond.
THE FOOD: EXQUISITE. SIMPLY EXQUISITE. I personally love what they have to offer. The menu is globalised from Oriental to European. The number of dishes aren't too many with respect to the type of cuisine but will leverage via their taste. SIMPLICITY IS KEY.
Personally, would request VEG lovers to try The Penne Alfredo with a higher seasoning,Cajun potatoes And yes LASAGNE! Non veg lovers.. oh you're gonna love everything. Must trys 1.MEZZE PLATTER: A rich combo of 4 different dips (Mayo, Hummus, Tahini, Tabouleh) with Falafels and Salad dressing. 2.SHWARMA PLATTER: Succulent shwarma with khuboos and salad. LASAGNA: Extremely cheesy and tender! The seasoning and spice is a lot less for me, thereby Oregano and chilli flakes are a must. CHICKEN BBQ WINGS: THEIR SIGNATURE DISH! Juicy wings that aren't just grilled or fried but are served in a manchurian style of rich semi gravy proportions. Absolutely stunning. TIKKA PIZZA: A very thin crust yet delightful pizza!
An absolute must to end your dining with THE MONSTROUS 7 LAYER CAKE, CHEESE CAKE OR A DARKER DEVILS CAKE! Certain cakes are seasonal.
Do try all their dishes from stroganoff to fish & chips and even beverages from shakes to lattes.
Overall, Great quality of dishes for the price. Absolute bang on buck with portions. The serving time is relatively slow during weekends but worth the wait. I was brought up in the Middle East and believe me, THE HUMMUS I've had is the best in...

CAFE CAKEBEE
Went to this modern place lunch .... they offer pizza 🍕, Burgers , shakes , fries , and all stuff .... I had heard about its pizza varieties ... tried our look today ...
Ordered for the vegetarian soup of the day ... it was greenpeas and combo soup ... it was really nice ... dono how to describe that .... Rs 67.80 for one soup .. we had one by two ..
then went for a started called Falafel Tatziki... its more towards the cutlet type ... it's actually mashed vegetables with white sauce / cream ... loved it .... it was not that great ... however like it .,, Rs 84.75 for one plate of it ..
Then our most expected stuff came ... we had ordered Grilled Vegetable Pizza ... they said it's a type of Handmade thin crust Pizza ... I was slightly disappointed as there was no choice of toppings ... but they said , they will add more cheese ( on my request ) ... the Pizza slices were fresh and tasty ... but I found them too thin and not filling the tummy ... I think Dominos is better ... still no regrets ... it was ok ... Rs 186.44 for one plate of pizza .....
Then came the one more dish ... it was Thai Curry .. it was special bowl of rice with vegetables gravy combo ... believe me .. this stuff was superb .. our taste buds satisfied to 100% .... the veg gravy was suitably spiced with full content of freshest vegetables ..... Rs 169.49 for one plate of Thai curry .....
The ambiance is excellent with new ideas ..
Overall a good experience ... it's nice that such new modern restos are coming to tier two cities like trichy .... one more surprise is their pricing...
Read moreWow, when I had almost given up my search for international cuisine in Trichy, chanced upon this cafe and boy did it exceed my expectations.
Most of the continental/Mediterranean restaurants in Trichy are pretentious at best and downright pathetic at worst. In the name of indianizing western cuisine, they fail to do justice to both Indian and Western cuisines. Not this one.
The mashed potatoes in The Stuffed Chicken that I ordered, gave me goosebumps, as it reminded me of the same dish I had from a hole-in-the-wall Prague restaurant. It's one of the simplest dishes, but most restaurants here get it wrong.
The KFC, McD Chicken Burgers are usually dry and reek of unwanted masalas, but this burger that we had - wow, the bun was soft and the chicken juicy. The way it should be.
Chicken Lasagne - At least in my experience, some of the best lasagne I have had was from France and not in Italy. And this one was done just right. Not too mushy, not overcooked and not too dry. Just perfect and it tasted just like some of the best I had from Suburban Paris.
Heck even the French fries, where crispy without the added "fusion mix".
Anyone who has had true continental/Mediterranean food experience would appreciate the justice these guys do to this cuisine.
And they make all dishes fresh and so just like any restaurant/cafe in the western world, be prepared to wait for 30 - 45 mins to get your...
