Me and my family visited Tiruvanamalai on 27 Dec 2014. We had a clear trip hotel booking in advance and the entire payment was made. I paid some 800 per room and took 2 rooms online. When i reached there at around 03:15 am on 27 Dec 2014, i was astonished that the reception of the hotel initially refused to honour the booking. He said there are no rooms available. When i discussed with him with details he said cleartrip failed to inform them of the booking and when the guest is going to check-in. He went on to say (although i had left a remark during booking that i would be checking at early morning on 27 Dec 2014) that you are a fool to go ahead with online booking and pay 800 for a room which costs around 500. I called cleartrip helpline and after may be 30-45 mins of discussion, he obliged us with only one room and said, this is all we have got. If you want to take it, go ahead or be seated in the reception. Cleartrip informed me that they have raised a complaint of this matter and address it during their official hours. Till now even after multiple calls they are not getting back to me. AT around 2 pm in the day the hotel person allotted us another room, small and dingy with torn beds and covers, unattended toilets. Whole time people were screaming and you cant even sleep for a moment.Why the hell we require a room then? We went out to roam the town during the entire day and checked out the same day at around 09:00 pm. Never ever go to this hotel. CLEARTRIP i am not going to leave you people that easily. Read moreThis is one of the worst hotel😑, I have ever seen. They are very rude with the customers and we have to wait for a long time to get the food. And the quality of food is normal. But the behavior of the staff is very rude. They even don't know how to respect the customers. First we should get the token and then we have to eat. After paying and getting the token they make us to wait for the food for very long time. If we question them about the time delayed they'll behave very rudely. I kindly request the hotel management to teach the staff members in the hotel to give respect to the customers and time management is important for them to be learnt. There are so many staff but even though they can't even handle 50% of the customers. I had a very bad day over there. So I suggest everyone to look for a better hotel, there are so many good...
