Mashup - Sports Bar and Night Club — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

Mash up is one of my favourite places to go to in Lucknow. The atmosphere is laid back and the place is very spacious. Even the decor is quite nice. There is an indoor and an outdoor section. I think the outdoors will be used once winter comes. The outdoors area is also a comfortable smoking area.

The biggest highlight of the place is the bowling alley. They only have 2 lanes and i think they are shorter than standard but it is fun none the less. It is quite cheap, 600 for 2 people one frame each.

Drinks are served here. They are priced at par with all other similar restaurants. They have great LIIT selections. The best thing about the place is that even though they serve drinks it does not feel like a 'drinking place'. Families can feel totally at ease there and the bowling makes for a great family activity. For that matter, when i last visited the place a kids birthday party was happening and i think the food was served with special orders and presumably better pricing with advance booking.

I am not a huge fan of the food there. It is not bad and can be enjoyable but like many pubs it is all over the place. We generally stick to starters.

Another thing that i like is i generally go there during the day on a weekend. Not very sure what the vibe is like at night but during the day the music is not too loud so you can have a conversation and make it a good place for a date or even catching up with friends. The taste in music is also good.

A small little nugget is that this place also has books available for reading. While the choice of books is not prolific it is still not bad and if you end up waiting for some time and you like to read I'm sure you will be able to find something to read.

The staff is attentive and courteous.

It was my Birthday and I visited mashup cafe to enjoy my special day. We have been going to this cafe quite often but this time they made my special day a horrible experience. We ordered maincourse and made an additional order for extra kadhai paneer and roti but we kept waiting for the food but it did not arrive at the table then the time passed by and my sister went to talk to manager whose name I don’t know but he is a bald person and he kept saying that it’s been just 10 minutes and it takes around 25 minutes. But 25 minutes passed by but then too the food wasn’t ready. Then my sister and father kept saying him that all our guests have left the table and you have served us yet so cancel the order because you are now going to prepare the food and your chef is now boiling the water and now you are going to make roti so cancel it let it be make the bill we all have eaten now and all our guests have left the table anyway. So that bald manager started arguing and misbehaving and abusing. We all got into fight and that’s how we left without eating and celebrating my birthday. Fraud☀️☀️☀️ Fraud ☀️☀️☀️ Fraud☀️☀️☀️ Jingle between T&C and Buffet.

First of all they haven't mentioned anywhere that they have a buffet on table. You order anything and it comes after 30 mins or more. They should have informed this. Secondly they charged a Service Charge of 10% though the service was Pathetic. Thirdly, I opted to pay from Zomato Pro so they said we don't take Zomato Pro payment If you are going for Buffet. This was also not mentioned anywhere. Their behaviour was very unprofessional. When I showed them on their Instagram page that OFFER is not mentioned anywhere on their promotional post. He replied very arrogantly "ISME YE BHI TOH NAHI LIKHA HAI KI HUM ONLINE PAYMENT LETE HAI" Is that the behaviour that we expect. It's pretty obvious that If you have given payment option on Zomato Pro.I can pay online. Talking about food.
