Cafe Coffee Day — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

We visited CCD Hazratganj on 6th August 2025. We ordered a Spinach Corn Cheese Sandwich, Tandoori Chicken Burger, Classic Cold Coffee, and a Matcha Latte.

Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The bread used in both the sandwich and the burger was stale. The patty in the burger did not taste like chicken at all—it was unidentifiable and unpleasant. The cold coffee was served in a paper cup, and when we asked why it wasn’t served in a glass mug, the staff gave a vague and unsatisfactory explanation. The matcha latte was overly sweet and lacked balance.

Most disturbingly, we found a hair in the burger. When we reported this to the staff, they silently took away the plates without offering a single word of apology. A simple apology is the bare minimum we expected.

Actually we went for Get together in CCD Hazrat Ganj Lucknow Inside atmosphere is Good lite music But Chairs are not comfortable AC is not properly working Huge traffic on the Road which create noise pollution if you are spending couple of time with your partner or family friends you can't even listen their voice I think CCD should shift some other place in Hazrat Ganj where their is No noise people come to CCD not for coffee But for mental Revolution peace of mind and ofcourse coffee also we Spend 2600 Rs on coffee we are actually 10 people I order milk shake my sisters order milk shake father mother order coffee other also order coffee.. My head was pounding that day. To ease it I tried ccd's English breakfast tea. When they served us the tea, I thought why's it black tea.... but a small kettle miniature was standing tall beside the tea cups. With creamy milk. Atleast I assumed that 😅, which I was supposed to pour in my tea.

Lifted the milk kettle, tilted it above my tea in hope... my tea will soon turn from dark black to creamy caramel color. But the cream was so stubborn to leave the pot. I patted it, shaked it again patted .... ahhh the cream started to move out. I struggled some more.

Finally I noticed. Cream was not cream neither milk. It was milk froth 🙄. But tea did the job. Though the interior of ccd was pathetic and smelly as water was dripping from roof top, into a bucket. Whole carpet was wet and smelly.

Ccd 4 stars only for the tea.... Please...
