Curry Leaf in Hazratganj, Lucknow, has quickly become a staple for my family, thanks to its exceptional South Indian and North Indian cuisine. This charming restaurant offers some of the best dosas I've ever tasted, alongside North Indian favorites like chole bhatura, lassi, and dahi vade. Each dish is prepared with care, bursting with authentic flavors that make every meal memorable.
The variety and quality of the South Indian dishes are truly impressive. Whether you're in the mood for a classic masala dosa or something more adventurous, Curry Leaf delivers consistently delicious results. The chole bhatura is another standout, perfectly seasoned and served with fluffy bhatura. Pairing these dishes with their refreshing lassi or the tangy dahi vade only enhances the dining experience. Also, their mojitos are extremely refreshing and my dad’s favourite as well.
The staff at Curry Leaf are extremely friendly and the service is both fast and efficient. The cleanliness of the restaurant further adds to its appeal, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. It's an excellent spot for a family outing, offering great food on a budget.
One area where Curry Leaf could improve is in accommodating families with young children. The lack of high chairs makes it less convenient for those dining with babies. Addressing this would make the restaurant even more family-friendly.
Overall, Curry Leaf is a fantastic recommendation for anyone looking to enjoy delicious, affordable South Indian and North Indian cuisine in Lucknow. It has become a go-to spot for my family, and we always look forward to...

Read moreSlow service and untrained staff. Highly overrated for the price you pay !! No one took order till we asked them to. We observed this for multiple customers who has to call them. The table was not clean and then it was cleaned with dirty and smelly cloth. We could smell the table throughout our breakfast. For everything we had to call the staff 2-3 times otherwise they won't bring the order. And the most shocking thing was all the staff would turn their face if you look and them to ask anything. So I had to go to them and ask to get our order, then bring the complete order, then bring the chutneys, then bring the bill.
I won't be visiting this place again. Even the manager wasn't bothered asking for order. You could feel the unprofessionalism rooted from the management itself.
The food was average - sambhar was too sour so we had to eat with chutney which was good. The filter coffee was pathetic and I left it as it was very bad. Mix Uttpam was really good. Idli was soft. Vada was average.
But the biggest mood spoiler was their staff...
