Curry Leaf in Hazratganj, Lucknow, has quickly become a staple for my family, thanks to its exceptional South Indian and North Indian cuisine. This charming restaurant offers some of the best dosas I've ever tasted, alongside North Indian favorites like chole bhatura, lassi, and dahi vade. Each dish is prepared with care, bursting with authentic flavors that make every meal memorable. The variety and quality of the South Indian dishes are truly impressive. Whether you're in the mood for a classic masala dosa or something more adventurous, Curry Leaf delivers consistently delicious results. The chole bhatura is another standout, perfectly seasoned and served with fluffy bhatura. Pairing these dishes with their refreshing lassi or the tangy dahi vade only enhances the dining experience. Also, their mojitos are extremely refreshing and my dad’s favourite as well. The staff at Curry Leaf are extremely friendly and the service is both fast and efficient. The cleanliness of the restaurant further adds to its appeal, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. It's an excellent spot for a family outing, offering great food on a budget. One area where Curry Leaf could improve is in accommodating families with young children. The lack of high chairs makes it less convenient for those dining with babies. Addressing this would make the restaurant even more family-friendly. Overall, Curry Leaf is a fantastic recommendation for anyone looking to enjoy delicious, affordable South Indian and North Indian cuisine in Lucknow. It has become a go-to spot for my family, and we always look forward to our next visit.

If you don't like South Indian food, you must visit this restaurant YOU'LL START LOVING IT very tasty dosa, idli, specially chilli idli Manager Mr Arora and all staff were so courteous, they take care of every customer, don't need to ask for anything, they're already there MUST VISIT PLACE,tried virgin mojito, which Mr Arora himself prepared, simply loved mocktails Thanks Curry leaf for giving sooooo tingling food Warning. Taste gunpowder, and Mysore masala dosa at your own risk!!!!(too hot and spicy) Filter coffee is must try item served in typical south indian style Katori and steel glass Few people didn't find south indian taste,I want to ask if they want soggy dosai with semi liquid, flowing aloo masala??? You must understand that when it is in North,it is northernised Pure south indian taste with be rejected by mass I've gone to Thailand,I couldn't even smell thai food which we love here Thanks

We had lunch today at curry leaf at Ganj. Having stayed at South India for the last few years and shifted to Lucknow recently, we were missing South Indian food. The restaurant was clean and decor like any South Indian restaurant, simple and lot of wooden facade. Even waiters were wearing green.🙂 the restaurant had lot of natural light and had a happy feeling about it. Staff friendly and welcoming. Even the menu looked happy, big size and large photos. I ordered a South Indian thali and wife Ordered Chettinad dosa. Nice and spicy. The number items were less in the thali but were tasty. The quantity was sufficient. The bill was about ₹750, which I feel was OK. But we felt stuffed. Probably next time we will order only one dish and split it. Overall, a happy experience. Will like to visit again. Budget friendly, average in taste.

Craving a taste of South India that's as cozy as it is delicious? Look no further than Curry Leaf Restaurant. Tucked away in the heart of the city, this place is a haven for those seeking authentic flavors in a laid-back setting. This has been a go-to place of ours since late 2010s, yeah, it’s that old!

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the comforting aroma of spices and the friendly smiles of the staff. The ambience is casual and relaxed, perfect for a low-key meal with friends or family.

Now, onto the food. Let me tell you, it's a flavor explosion! Whether you're diving into a crispy dosa or savoring a bowl of aromatic biryani, each bite is a journey through the vibrant streets of South India. And the best part? The portions are generous, so you'll definitely leave feeling satisfied.

But what really sets Curry Leaf apart is the service. Despite the laid-back vibe, the staff is always on the ball, making sure your orders are taken quickly and your food arrives hot and fresh. Plus, they're super friendly and accommodating, making you feel right at home.

So, if you're in the mood for some delicious South Indian fare in a casual setting, Curry Leaf Restaurant is the place to be. Trust me, you won't be...

Slow service and untrained staff. Highly overrated for the price you pay !! No one took order till we asked them to. We observed this for multiple customers who has to call them. The table was not clean and then it was cleaned with dirty and smelly cloth. We could smell the table throughout our breakfast. For everything we had to call the staff 2-3 times otherwise they won't bring the order. And the most shocking thing was all the staff would turn their face if you look and them to ask anything. So I had to go to them and ask to get our order, then bring the complete order, then bring the chutneys, then bring the bill.

I won't be visiting this place again. Even the manager wasn't bothered asking for order. You could feel the unprofessionalism rooted from the management itself.

The food was average - sambhar was too sour so we had to eat with chutney which was good. The filter coffee was pathetic and I left it as it was very bad. Mix Uttpam was really good. Idli was soft. Vada was average.

But the biggest mood spoiler was their staff...
