DABBU VEG — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

I had a mixed experience at this outlet of Dabbu Veg restaurant. Being a regular customer of their Saadatganj branch, I decided to try out their foods from Chowk branch on the day of Dhanteras. Firstly, they provide an AC sitting space. Secondly, they have an extensive food option available on their menu, which is not available in their Saadatganj outlet. I was happy to see a dedicated Chinese section on the menu and decided to opt for a plate of Dabbu Veg Special Chowmin and Paneer Manchurian. Despite being not too crowded, they took 35 minutes to serve my order. Meanwhile, when we were waiting for our order to come, we witnessed a brawl, wherein a customer sitting next to our table complained because a wrong order was delivered to him. He ordered a plate of Hyderabadi Veg Biryani, but he claimed that he received Veg Fried Rice. The war of words reached such heights that the manager of the restaurant had to step-in, ultimately resulting in the food getting returned. Consequently, the unsatisfied customer also left the restaurant. Coming to our order, the Chowmin tasted good, the Paneer Manchurian was delicious and extremely soft. But, they are not specialists in Non-Mughlai cuisines....

Anyone residing in Chowk would definitely know how much it is famous for its veg kebab parantha and rolls. The price of one veg roll is ₹35, it's quiet expensive than what other offers in that area. Others offer the same size at just ₹20. But yes pricing may be high because of the name they have earned and due to its good flavors. The size of roll is quiet impressive. Great place for soya chap, veg rolls and paneer rolls. The taste is very good and i have ordered over online apps many times and visited here and the taste has been consistently good. It is located opposite company bagh (lohia park). The parking space is scarce and it would be better if you visit by a two wheeler. The dine-in space is very little so it is better to eat in your car...
