New budget buffet review !! Where - @saffronkitchenrestaurant . So I recently visited this budget buffet (₹399) so I'll review it keeping in mind the price point. They had 5-6 veg starters - soyachaap, chilly potato, crispy corn, paneer tikka, cheese corn balls and 3-4 non veg starters- chilly chicken, chicken tikka and fish fingers and they also got some items extra the reason of which I'll mention later. The main course a lil less extravagant compared to other budget buffets. The dessert part - 4 desserts out of which two were puddings. Also they had 2 welcome drinks, soups and pastas. . The good part- I really loved the vegetarian starters that tasted really great except the cheese corn balls. Chilly chicken was so good that it tasted nothing like buffet food coz such items tend to lose out the quality. The service was really good and would give it a perfect 10 even when they had so many people to attend, they made sure someone was always there to cater our needs. Also it comes at a budget friendly package so yes if you wanna a new place go for it. . The bad part- The most disappointing part was that there was private party going on and they let us in only to cause trouble to both the sides as a result of which we were cornered to a dim lit area. I would really not recommend the non veg starters coz the chicken tikka had a stale taste and a bad stinking smell as a result of which they gave us chicken wings but still the same stale taste persisted. The fish they used was an inferior quality fish coz as a Bengali i know how a good fish tastes but that's the case i find with all buffets however the preparation was good. The interiors were very normal i mean u really don't get the feel of an buffet (though that's not the case with other budget buffets). Also the main course was very limited with not much options for vegetarians (though the main course is my least area of concern in any buffet coz it always disappoints). The desserts again a disappointment not many options to choose from however this is most important part of any buffet be it a budget buffet or a...

Read moreVisied the place for food review of their buffet section. They provide veg and non veg both buffet for just 350 INR, which is quite affordable. Started with their Manchaow soup (veg/non veg), which tasted really good. The Best part of any buffet is snacks, and I honestly loved snacks section, the variety and taste. Includes veg croquettes, chilly chicken, Chilly soya chaap, pocket Pizza, Crispy corn, Soya methi chaap, paneer tikka, of which mutton kebab and soya chilli chaap has to be my favorite.🤤 Paneer tikka was also perfectly marinated. Allover every item in snacks was tasty. If you're not opting for buffet then you can definitely order them seperately.
In main course they have chicken korma, chicken biryani, bengali fish curry, noodles, manchurian, veg Biryani, paneer butter masala, veg kofta, potato capsicum and Yellow daal takda. Main course was just okay. Also, it didn't matter to me because I always skip main course in any buffet. Coming to the desserts, they serve different desserts on random days, so dessert section isn't fixed. I had Starwberry and choclate pudding, Moong daal halwa and gulab jamun. In drinks I loved the Blueberry current mocktail, very refreshing and tastes good. So you can try out this place, offers affordable buffet, located in...
