I'm not a regular customer here. I've come only twice before and this was my third visit. And it was horrible. At a restaurant, it's very important for the staff and their manager to deal with their customers in a cordial manner. But here, the manager at night, is extremely rude. He is not at all cordial. That's not how it should be.My friends visited the restaurant and were there for a couple of hours. They ate and ordered several drinks. Have been visiting since many years but an experience like this has never occurred before. A friend really liked the beaker in which the LIT is served and wanted to take it with him. Naturally it wasn't allowed. So he brought it back right at that moment only. No one said anything. Everything was sorted. As the staff of a restaurant which serves drinks all the time, and are very well aware that customers tend to get drunk or are in happy spirits, they should be patient with the customers instead of being highly rude. The bill- rounding up to 12k at least.. was also paid. But even then the manager was extremely rude to my friends instead of being understanding and maintaining a good temperament. I'd heard about this from several people but today we've experienced it. My friends and I are never going to visit this cafe again. They need to work on these basic things- how to deal with customers, how to be cordial, calm and composed during situations like this and create an environment and atmosphere in their cafe which would make their customers want to visit again. But here they make you feel as if they don't want you there. They've lost a couple of devoted customers now who had been coming here since...
Read moreHey guys! 😊 So today we checked out the mocha cafe at last. It was a vibrant place full of vibes, great collection of music and dim lights. They have a huge place to cater inside and outside seating both are available. We chose inside as it was too hot outside and the a.c inside was fantastic.
Apart from the ambience if I talk about the staff then everyone is very cooperative and friendly. They take care of your requirements very nicely.
👉 One very important thing to remember before going there. It is a crowded place so obviously you won't get seating inside easily but if you request to wait to get a seat then Max waiting time would be 10min.
👉 Cricket lovers can watch their match on a huge projector.
🍽️ Food items on the list were in galore However, we ordered 👇🏻 🔹 Butter garlic prawns 🍤 🔹 Bhatti murg 🍗 (roasted chicken) 🔹 Tibetan steamed momos 🥟 🔹 Chicken tikka pizza 🍕
For drinks-: Pink lemonade (cranberry based) 🍷 Kiwi mojito 🥝 Pineapple juice 🍍 In Beverages alcohol and non alcohol both are available having various options to choose from.
The food was flavourful, tasty. The presentation was nice as well but what we felt was that the portions according to the cost was less. You guys should work on increasing portions.
Overall, it's a lovely place to chill, enjoy great conversation, lovely music and setting the mood...
Read moreI came in here looking for salad but ended up ordering the deep fried chilli cheese dragon rolls and beer as well.
The dragon rolls were mind-blowingly good, and attractively presented as well. The Belgian Hopper beers were also great and it was so nice to have another option besides the ubiquitous Kingfisher varieties.
After these items, the salad was disappointing. The vinaigrette wasn't available so I had the aioli, which detracted from the salad's freshness. I felt that some more ingredients could have been added to make it a bit more interesting. The popular couch/table combination was also awkward to eat at.
The ambience of the place was a mixed bag. There were some nice touches like the mocha-modified bicycle, but it was pretty dark and I felt that a lot more mood lighting was needed to freshen the place up (this would also make it easier for punters to take good social media photos of their food). Lively hip hop was being played when I arrived, but this was later replaced by boring romantic pop music, presumably to suit the many couples who were arriving. It wasn't clear who the cafe was actually targeting.
The bill came to over 1700 rupees, with the beers costing around 1000 of this. A 5% service charge was automatically included, and it wasn't clear if an additional tip was expected, so I...
