Subway Hazratganj — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

So Lucknow finally has a Subway Restaurant, again. They take pride in baking their own bread, although it's from a pre-mix. They also, thankfully, no longer use azodicarbonamide, the "yoga mat" chemical, in the pre-mix. However, I wonder what else is in there that will need another scandal to be eliminated.

This Subway doesn't offer the popular and value-for-money "sub of the day" option, and when I asked about it I was lied to: the cashier told me that it has been discontinued. Well, you can still get it at stores in NCR, at least. I'd have appreciated it had he just told me the truth: that they're trying to maximize their revenue.

This joint also doesn’t have all the bread options available, and seeks 40 minutes to bake the bread of your choice if you insist! That's no way to run a Quick Service Restaurant.

However, they ensure lane discipline and manage it all well when it's crowded. Full points for that. The sandwiches are great, like what you'd expect from Subway with their strict quality and supply chain control. These guys are not stingy with the sauces too, unlike the misers who used to man the Sahara...

Beware being cheated at this outlet . Please check your bills before taking delivery. We had 2 chicken tikka sandwiches 6 inch with extra toppings and a bottle of coke. We had the food there itself. Today while throwing away the bill I saw I have been charged ₹190 extra for another sandwich I did not buy. I called up the office today and some Mr Shivam told me that it is my mistake that I did not check the bill and paid extra. Agreed it is my mistake !! The question is why they had to charge extra in the first place. I do not seek any refund but wish to advise Customers to recheck their bills before taking delivery from this outlet as their dealings are not fair and they tend to cheat...

Worst service ever! This was my first visit to subway and the service they provided was extremely bad and poor. First of all the tables were not clean and they were not ready to clean it. The food was served on a paper napkin! After arguing, they said that they'll not give any trays and you'll have to pay for a box. I was disappointed at this point already. The bread was rotten and the fillings including the veggies and sauces were also stale. The sub was totally cold and they were not at all sorry. The food was served in such a way, that it looked like garbage.They took full amount even after realising the situation. Rude service! Never waste your time...
