Read moreDespite having enquired about it beforehand, when we finally sat down to order food, we were told no Tandoor items were available, so no Naans, no Tikkas, etc. Had to settle with Roomali Rotis. We also ordered a cold drink but what they do is, instead of serving the full quantity (500ml) for which they are charging you, they would empty a part of it in a mug and serve that reduced quantity instead. I am not sure what they do with the remaining beverage. The full plate quantity of the veg dishes we ordered (priced excess of 400) was not sufficient for 2 people. By any other restaurant's standard, it won't qualify for even a half plate. So we ordered another dish from veg main course but to our horror the person serving us botched up the order and after making us wait for around half an hour brought a rice dish when we had ordered a sabzi. All this while we kept calling him for Rotis, but that wasn't served either. I walked to the food service counter myself and saw the waiter was drinking tea and busy in a banter with the kitchen staff. I understand the person was probably working from hours and deserved a tea break and a moment to relax. I just think they should have instructed someone else to serve us in the meantime. So finally the wrong dish was served and we had to send it back. On his part, the waiter was very polite and promptly took the wrong rice dish back. Another 15-20 min or so later, we were finally served the sabzi we had ordered along with the Rotis. We ordered one more dish, which was probably one of the better ones they prepared. Despite the gaffes, we tipped the...
