If you look at the owner who is short,it seems he is pregnant with the ignorance and racism and sheer and utmost disrespect to anyone who is not Israali or white. This guy has big belly and all he got is bad way of impressing Caucasians. The Israeli food and eggs items not on the menu. But one can order if they know if the owner does not feel racist or biased towards non -israelies or caucasians. Go figure!
There is so much I can say and elaborate but this guy and this place does not deserve any respect. I feel compassion for these kind of businesses. They are not making money and on top of that selling themselves short. May God bless them!!!
Quite popular with Isarelis. Big place but can feel very noisy with the honking outside. It echoes in the cafe. They have cofee machine, that's the bonus. Shakshuka is big in size and good. Fruit with yogurt and muesli is hit and miss, mostly miss....
Toilet's condition is the same since it was established once upon a time. The state of the toilet and kitchen can tell a lot about the condition and mentality of the folks running the show. I have been regular here. I always have to order at the counter. No problem for me! ;-)
The cheapest coffee in the town hence no...
Read moreWe ordered mushroom corn masala and paneer bhurji. After waiting for 20 minutes, the boy comes and tries to convince us to have kadhai paneer instead of paneer bhurji, I denied . He asked us 3 times and said ' sir lelo na' , I denied . But then my friends agreed and ordered kadhai paneer . Within 1 minute he came with kadhai paneer as if it was already prepared . We compromised our order for the convenience of the restraunt but now 30% the bowl of kadhai paneer was empty while the bowl of mushroom masala was full . I told the counter guy about the same and he said that if I increase the quantity the, bowl wil overflow . I showed him the bowl of mushroom masala and asked why isn't it overflowing ? Then the poor boy got frustrated and said ' quantity itni hi milegi' .I would have walked away but didn't want to disrespect the food . We adjusted to his tantrums and here im now. And now about the quality of the food . This restaurant served the best food 2 years ago but now they simply add maggi masala to all their sabzis . Overall my experience was pathetic and i would not visit this...
Read moreMargherita pizza did not have enough fresh basil, nor any flavour. Lucky there was dried basil and chilli flakes on the table. The base was probably a frozen base from the supermarket, given it's tough texture. The pizza had been in the oven too long.
The bathroom smelt and was not cleaned after I asked it to be cleaned, despite one of the waiters standing outside the restaurant.
The French fries were too crispy, there was no fluffliness of potato which was disappointing. It was a large portion though.
The Hello to the Queen, and Moringa, banana and ginger smoothie were good though. The Hello to the Queen portion was large, and the cheapest I've seen during our two month trip in India. There was a good range of textures (warm banana, pomegranate, desiccated coconut fried in butter, oreos, malt biscuits, vanilla icecream and two sweet sauces). It wasn't too sweet and my favourite western-style dessert I've had in India.
The smoothie was well-balanced and yummy.
One great factor is that you're not being charged tourist prices. On another note, there is...
