Subway is a popular fast food chain that is known for its customizable sandwiches and salads. There are several Subway restaurants in Dehradun, and I recently visited the one located in the Race Course area.
The restaurant is small but clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered a footlong Subway Club sandwich on Italian bread with turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, and American cheese. I also added avocado and chipotle southwest sauce.
The sandwich was made fresh to order and was delicious. The bread was soft and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The chipotle southwest sauce added a nice kick of heat.
The prices at Subway are reasonable. My sandwich cost around Rs. 250. Overall, I had a good experience at Subway in Dehradun. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable.
Here are some of the pros and cons of Subway in Dehradun:

Subway has a variety of salads available, including the Chicken Caesar Salad and the Tuna Salad Sandwich. Subway also offers a variety of drinks, such as soft drinks,...
Read moreI’ve always enjoyed Subway in different parts of the world, but I’ve often found the vegetarian choices to be limited. So walking into this outlet and seeing a wide range of veg options like the Aloo Tikki, Tandoori Paneer, and Shami Kebab had me genuinely excited.
But that excitement faded quickly. All three sandwiches ended up tasting nearly identical. The vegetables weren’t fresh, and even though they toasted the bread in front of us, the sandwiches were still cold when served. The overall flavour was bland, and the experience felt underwhelming. At approximately ₹500 per footlong, it definitely felt like a waste of money. I’m not sure if this is the standard across all Subways in India.
What added to the disappointment was the lack of basic facilities. For a global franchise, I didn’t expect there to be no toilet or even a simple washbasin to clean your hands. It made the whole visit feel oddly incomplete.
The one bright spot was the staff, very kind, patient, and helpful throughout. I just wish the food and environment matched...
Read moreA paradise for people concerned about their health and want to avoid eating unhealthy junk outside. The service is quick. Personnel keep your choices on top. You choose each and every element right from choice of bread to veggies, sauces, patties etc. The seating space is not that big though. Max 20-25 people can dine in at a time. The barbeque sauce is a must try. Among breads I liked Multi grain bread the most. The bread is soft and moist. Ingredients were fresh. There is discount on a particular sub every day of week. They call it sub of the day and costs ₹139/-. You can bundle it with a meal for...
