I have never had a bad experience with their pizzas, but yesterday was the first time that I experienced their customer service, since I have always ordered from other delivery partners. After noticing that there were better offers on their direct app, I attempted to place an order but found that their online order placement feature was unavailable (no delivery neither an option for pickup was available on the app). I called the restaurant and they asked me to place an order via a Whatsapp message on a number they provided. I even enquired about the availability of the offers if I proceed to order using this method and was informed as long as it was available on the app, it would apply. After sharing my order on Whatsapp, and waiting for 30 mins for a response, we decided to proceed to the restaurant to pick up our order, and on arrival we were informed that our order was not placed as "we did not call to confirm" our order after sharing it on Whatsapp. After a short squabble, the person said the order would be prepared but the discounts would not be applicable, and blatantly refused that we had any conversation about the offers being available if we are unable to use the app to avail them. There was no acknowledgement on the servers end that there may have been a miscommunication or misunderstanding. The very clear fact that your employees do not know how your app and website works or when certain services on the app are unavailable is a clear indicator of the poor training that your franchise offers on operations. Read moreMy visit to this outlet today was far from satisfying. Arriving around noon, I immediately noticed that most of the air conditioners were switched off, leaving the place uncomfortably warm. Despite my request, the staff only turned them on briefly, leaving me sweating throughout my meal. To make matters worse, there were mosquitoes and flies buzzing around the tables, which was quite unpleasant.
As for the food, I ordered a Pasta, Garlic bread, and a Ginger Ale. The garlic bread turned out to be excessively salty, overpowering any other flavor. The first serving of pasta was a disappointment - it was overcooked and resembled more of a mush than pasta. After complaining, the staff replaced it, but the second serving wasn't any better. It contained sour and rancid paneer cubes along with spoiled mushrooms that were completely black and emitting a foul odor. Fortunately I had just a few bites and I am just having an upset stomach. But for someone it can cause food poisoning.
It's evident that La Pinoz has undergone renovations, but unfortunately, it seems to have affected the quality of their food negatively and they no longer understand what food safety standards are.
