BEWARE CONSUMER OF THIS FLURYS BRANCH SELLING YOU EXPIRED PRODUCTS!! Went to buy some pastries and a plum cake to this branch on 3rd Jan 2019. I asked for a plum cake and they quickly gave me the one from the counter. They were in quite a hurry to get the item cashed and I couldn't understand why. In my mind, Flurys as a brand always stood for quality so I ignored my intuition. It was only after the item was billed and went I outside the store that I happened to realize that the cake was expiring the very next day , as I found the expiry date etched in very tiny font on the back of the cake. I immediately went back and asked for a refund , presenting them the still untouched ,sealed cake,as was bought just a few minutes ago. At first, they were very crafty and simply refused to take the cake back. It was only after I made some noise that one of them said they will look for a fresher cake. They ended up giving me one that was expiring only 4 days later. I had to regretfully take that one instead. In hindsight, I wished I could have still persisted in getting a refund.
When I returned home and sampled it, I found that this comparatively newer cake had gone a little stale too. It gave me stomach cramps. But now, the package had been opened. I couldn't return it at all. A complete waste of money.
To the management of the actual authentic Flurys: if you are reading this, I would actually advise you to kindly look into this Bangur branch staff and their dishonesty in deceiving the customer! They are tarnishing your brand's...
Read moreFlury’s Bangur Avenue outlet was an awfully bad experience, early this week in terms of all three - the food, the atmosphere and the service. For a masala omelet here you have to pay 400 rupees and you will be getting a plain omelet (literally) with two slice of brown bread and a tiny aloo tikki, and two Sache of Amul butter. I agreee I am paying more than the served items as I am getting the service as well. The storekeepers were speaking loudly enough for the customers to know what employee internal strife is going on there. Instead of the sweet buttery confectionery smell of any Flury’s outlet, Bangur avenue one has a pungent smell of semi cooked fish and egg with shabbily maintained furniture and fixtures - these all belongs to the part of service for which I am paying 300 rupees as the food ingredient costs were merely 100 rupees. Hope the Flurry’s management reads a my comments and take necessary action either to upgrade the local stores’ product and service level OR adjust the price according to the product and service it offers OR close this system of local outlets and cheating people, if it is eager to...
Read moreI went to bangur fluries for breakfast with my family in last saturday at 8.45 am, the girl was there so unprofrssional so disghusting that I cant even explain. Neirher she knows how to talk to the customer nor she has any knowledge about the menu. It was like that she is not at all in mood to work there.Food was ok but the bread was burnt. Tea was like horrible. Not at all Darjeeling tea flavoured, it was like only HOT WATER. Not at all up to the mark like park street Fluries. I recommend no body should go to bangur flurys at least...
