COMMUNITY RESTAURANT 🙄🤧 Very very poor service & food. In South India 🙄 no one speaking tamil literally... It was named as multi-cuisine restaurant but it was actually fully focused on north Indians only... We feel like we was in north India Waiter he only speaks Hindi can't even explain the dishes..we know only tamil. If it was not for South Indian - Tamil people please put a board infront of the hotel.. frustated to the hell.. The main part...we ordered Pasta - it was good, fine but The waiter said it was best sandwich to some Mexican sandwich first time trying taste awful 🤢 and There was a STONE 🪨 (two lemon seeds size) in that sandwich. Then asking sorry then one tamil billing person came to ask sorry we very very upset.... They not even deducted it from the bill.. Everything Costly 2 dishes we paid 500 above something.. Actually 😂 they having Jain dishes recommendation on all the menu... Everyone recommend their best dishes but here🙊 Never seen like this... It's was obvious you focused on Jain's & north Indians while having restuarant🤧 in South India🥲 They saying we can replace the dishes...we already tummy full how we can eat, we just forget to fight because of the upset. We forget to take picture of that stone, the waiter see it & run away with that. They saying we can compensate with cocktails💨. Where we going SOUTH INDIANS🥲 it was actually COMMUNITY RESTUARANT 🤢😷we visited accidently🤕 In billing they asked feedback... OR Code also not...
Read moreWe were looking for veg restaurants for lunch with Family in R S Puram and my friend recommended Havana.
Menu - There were several traditional and contemporary options available from soup, starters, main course to dessert.
Beverages - Average We tried couple of them. The watermelon mocktail I had was pathetic. They had some syrup mixed in it was an overdose and tasted pretty bad
Starters - Average. We tried the Activated Charcoal Dahi Kebab and the Lebanese platter. Both tasted very average and nothing great about them. I have never had such a poor tasting hummus and the pita bread was so thick.
Main course - above average. The thai red curry I had ordered was good. But I was expecting the traditional thai sticky rice and this was far from it. The mac and cheese my daughter had was also pathetic. Dont know why they had to add so much coloring to it. The noodles was good.
Ambience - pretty ordinary. The entrance to seating was very open layout and we could snoop in on the next table. Didnt give me any upscale feeling.
Location - its on W. Sambandam road and parking in front was limited as there is social kitchen as well in front of it. We parked on thadagam road half a km away.
Price - moderate.
Overall, you can try this place if you are in R S Puram and are looking for veg options. But dont have any expectations and I doubt you will...
Read moreMy friend had told me about this place and that it is really good for vegetarian food so i decided to go with my family but I was very concerned upon entering the restaurant since it was extremely gloomy and dim and a few walls also looked really old. The ambiance was just not good whatsoever.
The next problem arrived when we ordered the food... and we waited... and waited... and waited... and FINALLY around 40-50 minutes later ONE of our starters arrived. We must have spent like 3-4 hours in that restaurant. We ordered two drinks which they basically forgot about and they even gave us one of the starters AT THE END OF THE MEAL!
The food was not bad but the service was just TERRIBLE. When we walked in, there were like 2 or 3 other families there but by the time we left, the whole restaurant was PACKED. There were definitely like 4 other tables complaining about the service too. It seemed like only one chef was there trying to make food for like 15 families. A restaurant should not have that much seating if they are not able to serve that many customers.
Overall, The food wasn't that bad but it DEFINITELY wasn't worth the time we wasted sitting there doing absolutely nothing...
