Read moreI don't know if this outlet (Nanganallur) is a franchisee spot or directly under the founders. Whoever is in charge look into the reviews (not just mine but others as well) and take some action. Mere come back, we will look into it, register complaint in said email etc replies isn't doing a thing at the place.. This used to be a great place a year ago.. Don't know what's happening now..
Worst service ever. Twenty min to serve two idlis. Twenty five min for coffee and twenty five min for making two idli and one vada parcel when there is just three to four tables with max of 10-13 people in restaurant. Insufficient qty of servers.
One at the cash counter who gives a vibe as to even why he is there in first place and one more who serves all the table and stays in the kitchen for ten to fifteen min at a stretch to bring all order at once and if you need anything you will have to wait for him to arrive...
Fifty odd min we spent at the outlet we saw one elderly person frustrated by the way he was treated (actually not treated at all would be apt). At his age he has to wait at the counter for paying when the receiver is inside the kitchen and we had to knock the kitchen door to bring the cashier guy out to his place. We saw two women who sat down and went away without having anything. One family clueless when their dosa and chutney sambhar shall arrive. One family clueless if anyone will even come to take their order.
The person taking the banana leaf after one finishes his or her food is serving chutney and sambhar without washing his hands. Totally unhygienic..
The only thing that comes faster to your table if you get one to sit is the banana leaf.
Food I'm giving one star since the experience is worst. Some faults in food can be forgotten or not thought of if the experience is excellent and if the experience is worst then even the best food is tasted as worst.
Plus side is that security is very helpful in parking and also when one leaves...
Read moreThe customer service at this outlet is very, very, very poor. Severe shortage of servers. Only 1 server attends the majority of tables. The outlet treats customers like beggars. The customers need to wait for several minutes before that 1 server attends the table. The billing person is very arrogant, and he keeps busy counting coins. The floors are swept with broom when customers are eating food. The dust coming out of sweeping action settles on the banana leaf with food. The outlet is full of house flies. The UV light trap never catches any insect. Instead, it sits on the customers' food happily. The outlet is totally pathetic and never ever has customer satisfaction. The billing person arrogantly answers to customers, saying that " you complain wherever you want." The zone in charge has not done proper inspections. The idli is served only with sambar and coconut chutney. Once the customers finish, other types of chutneys are served. But for what??. The quality is detiorating day by day at murugan. It's better to close the Nanganallur outlet instead of running with 1 server. Customers be cautious once you plan to go...
