I recently visited Café Coffee Day (CCD), Adyar, Chennai and had a pretty enjoyable experience overall. The atmosphere is cozy, with a nice vibe for both work and casual meetings. The coffee, as expected, was top-notch—especially the cappuccino, which had the perfect balance of flavor and creaminess. I also tried a sandwich, which was fresh and satisfying, with good quality ingredients.
However, I was a bit taken aback by the pricing. For two cappuccinos and a single sandwich, the bill came to INR 880. While I understand that CCD is a popular café chain, the cost felt quite high for what I got. It’s definitely on the pricier side, especially when compared to similar places in the area.
