Cafe Coffee Day — Restaurant in Zone 13 Adyar

I recently visited Café Coffee Day (CCD), Adyar, Chennai and had a pretty enjoyable experience overall. The atmosphere is cozy, with a nice vibe for both work and casual meetings. The coffee, as expected, was top-notch—especially the cappuccino, which had the perfect balance of flavor and creaminess. I also tried a sandwich, which was fresh and satisfying, with good quality ingredients.

However, I was a bit taken aback by the pricing. For two cappuccinos and a single sandwich, the bill came to INR 880. While I understand that CCD is a popular café chain, the cost felt quite high for what I got. It’s definitely on the pricier side, especially when compared to similar places in the area.

Charging options are not available and staff speech was very rude, we tried to charge near the reception point and working for a minute and that guy was mentioning don't sit here and people use to come for billing. I said people should know what's happening, for the past one month we can at night for meeting all the days we faced charging issues. Today they was a black guy at reception before we move shouting at his colleagues that why are you along them to sit after 12 AM. Tell them to buy some thing. We buy a capachino it's not look like a coffee with milk sugar and some coffee powder mixed in water. With in 1 hour he wants to order some thing and asking us to pay hourly charges. I was frustrated and my friend tried to purchase. Please avoid this coffee day. Worst management and very expensive foods. I will not try this any more it's better to...

I went in with a friend ...it's a worst attitude they showed ..we ordered a cappuchino ..which was so not cappuchino ..after that I politely asked him to add some flavour ..yet he gave mild ... And we were conversing and this guy with the mushtash came and said we have to order another as it's a rule that each hour a customer have to order . ...and i really wonder no matter the atmosphere or fine fancy things ..the attitude of these people are worst ..I mean how can someone ask you to leave politely if you don't order more ...and at last I went in the rest room where there was a worst odur in the rest room ...
