I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sangeetha Vegetarian Restaurant, and my experience was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I stepped into the dining hall promptly at noon, I was impressed by the impeccable cleanliness, excellent air conditioning, and inviting ambiance.Opting for the Special Tamil Nadu Meals, my culinary journey began with a piping hot tomato soup that tantalized my taste buds and set the stage for the feast to come. While initially expecting traditional white rice, I was pleasantly surprised by the flavorful mix of rice with parupu podi and ghee, accompanied by Andhra-style chutney, which left me craving more. Each subsequent course, from the aromatic sambar and keerai to the delectable vatha kolambu paired with appalam, showcased the restaurant's commitment to authentic flavors and quality ingredients. The addition of carrot poriyal and coconut chutney complemented the meal beautifully, adding depth and texture to each bite.As I indulged in the heavenly sweetness of the payasam, I thought my culinary journey had reached its peak. Yet, the inclusion of ice cream as part of the Special Meals menu proved to be the perfect finale, offering a cool and refreshing conclusion to my feast. The seamless digital transaction for settling the bill was a convenient touch, ensuring a hassle-free end to my dining experience. Overall, my visit to Sangeetha Vegetarian Restaurant was a culinary adventure filled with delightful flavors, impeccable service, and a warm ambiance. I eagerly look forward to returning to explore more of their tantalizing offerings.

Hotel Sangeetha in Adayar is a good restaurant with an excellent selection of food at an affordable price. I had the pleasure of dining there recently with two friends and was impressed with the quality of the food, the service, and the ambiance. The restaurant is located near the main road and is easily accessible. We dined in the A/C restaurant located upstairs, which provided a comfortable and quiet atmosphere. The ambiance was pleasant with good lighting and a clean and well-maintained environment. The menu has a wide variety of dishes to choose from, and we ordered a starter, soup, Masala dosa, Podi Dosa, plain dosa with coffee, and their special juice. The food was delicious, and each dish had a unique flavor. The dosas were perfectly crisp and had the right amount of filling. The soup was flavorsome and well seasoned, and the coffee was strong and flavorful. The service was excellent, and the staff was attentive, polite, and helpful. They ensured that our dining experience was comfortable and enjoyable. The food was served promptly, and we did not have to wait long for our dishes to arrive. The price of the food was reasonable, and it did not burn a hole in our pockets. We paid Rs.1153 for three people, which included a variety of dishes and drinks. It was worth the money, considering the quality of the food and the service. In conclusion, I would recommend Hotel Sangeetha in Adayar to anyone looking for a good restaurant with excellent food, service, and ambiance. It is a great place to dine with friends and family, and it is definitely worth a visit.

Have been customer last 35 years of adyar Sangeetha and of late seeing huge quality deterioration last 2 years and in hygiene

Being specific : The trademark adyar Sangeetha sambar taste is no more there. Lost -. The arachu vitta sambar taste and small onions is lost . Need to use microscope to find small onions these days Aloo masala fir poori sometimes taste sweet. May be due to aloo and besan mix in it also has changed . The traditional aloo masala taste gone. Saagu too pungent strong . Coffee continues to best quality although price has doubled last 3 years Mini tiffin in morning- except sambar, everything items is just warm / cold. Painful to hv kichdi or Pongal just warm/ cold.. red chutney seems to be quite tikka last 2 years. White chutneys very good

Even vada and mini dosa is served cold in morning in mini tiffin ( not in ac restaurant- even outside). Not ok at all. Answer told is mini tiffin is usually not that hot ..

Juices and dosa prices have gone up by 45-50% last 3 years while varieties hv got added . No quality improvement for price . Ghee roast around Rs 175-185 has very less ghee flavor

North Indian chaats . Complete revamp required . Especially chutneys and chole, channa, masala’s used are not giving genuine north flavour at all. For price , no where near taste expectations

Meals - Tamilnadu - lunch kootu and poriyal is many times half cooked . Many times repeat menu … Some parts cooked and some not cooked in hurry ..butter milk quality has become very thin when you r bit late afternoon and papad is soft and not crisp at all they focus more on add ons to give starters etc for additional billing

Service - staff smiles / friendly , gives you addl helpings , but very over confident and not receptive to hear any feedback as they think nothing needs corrections

10 No cleaning in floor below tables happen and food substances r lying there when we go to sit fresh on table .. hand Washing area no improvement done and still not contemporary . Many times wash basin not clean at all

We know brand has been built thro hard work , efforts over decades by team and promoters to build it and we respect and value it

But consistent decline in quality , hygiene and steep prices increases will even put loyal customers away.. word of mouth serves both positive and negative too , based on quality , hygiene .. When their Head office adyar branch is as this, worrying how far away branch quality is maintained . It will be evident to loyal customers as us . I’m sure team will set it right and feedback taken in right spirit. They used to hv strong admin and I’m sure they will set it right.

It’s the loyal customers who hv genuine interest on shop , who give straight feedback as this The above r our own experiences based on...

I have been a loyal customer of Sangeetha Adyar for nearly 10 years, with many cherished memories of good food and great conversations. This has always been my go-to spot, whether for casual meals or important meetings. However, my experience last evening was nothing short of shocking and deeply frustrating, completely ruining the image I had of this place.

I had a very important meeting with someone and specifically chose Sangeetha because of its reputation and my past experiences. To my utter disbelief, while we were still engaged in our conversation, your staff interrupted by handing us the bill, insisting that we settle it immediately. As if that wasn’t enough, a cleaning staff member started cleaning the table while we were still seated and talking. We were then asked to leave, as we were told that other customers were waiting for the table!

This kind of behavior was shocking. Never in my many years of visiting Sangeetha had I experienced such rudeness. I confronted the in-charge, Guna Shankar or Guna Shekhar (I’m unsure of the exact name), about this appalling treatment. Instead of offering an apology, he was extremely rude, adamant, and spoke in a harsh tone, showing no remorse for his actions. His complete lack of professionalism and manners only worsened the situation, leaving me frustrated and appalled.

I attempted to escalate the matter at the restaurant itself, but unfortunately, there was no resolution. To top it all off, I left the place drenched in the rain, both literally and figuratively, carrying disappointment instead of the usual satisfaction.

This experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I am now questioning whether Sangeetha still values its long-term patrons. What was once a trusted place for me has now become a source of frustration. I had expected a rich and pleasant experience but was instead met with rude service and an evening...
