I've faced a bad experience here. I'll point out those things below separately. They have a quite costly menu but the place is not upto, they have plastic chairs which is too uncomfortable to sit and eat.
Hygienic wise also am not satisfied, they leaved the Tomato sauce bottle opened and the flies where flying on that. Even the menu is looks too old.
3.This is the one thing which totally gave bad thoughts towards their hotel. They gaved the water bottle and didn't inform us that it'll be charged. They didn't have free water. A food restaurant must have give water and washrooms free of cost but here they fooling the customers by adding the hidden charges in bill.
After I argued more than 10mins, they removed the water bottle charge in the bill. I'll attach the bill here.
Food taste is also not upto the mark, the mutton chukka was good at first. So we ordered the same dish again but this time it wasn't great. Don't know whether it was made by another chef or why it's happened like that.
I'm giving 2 out of 5 because of the water issue and...
Read moreThe Hot Kitchen is one of the older restaurants in Injamkakkam on ECR. They were always known for their tasty food. The place is large. Has a large seating area. The place is also green which is a good thing for a place like Chennai which is almost always hot and humid. They serve great Asian cuisine and Indian food too. The food is good. Thave have now opened a Restobar called the Chennai Wharf very recently in the same place. They now serve many international liquors as well as Indian liquor. They have divided the Restobar into 2 areas. One is with 10 tables is Air-conditioned. Probably it can seat about 35-40 customers . It also has a larger open area with more than 20 tables atleast. It is very airy and has a very laid back feel . It is also reasonably priced which makes it a brilliant option for weekend party goers. The restaurant is divided so families can eat comfortably. Try the place when you are...
Read moreWe had a small bbq house party for 20 members. Hot kitchen did the live counter for bbq. We also ordered chicken biriyani, veg fried rice and gobi manchurian with them. They brought everything to the venue around 7.30 pm. Chicken biriyani got spoiled around 12.30 itself and we had to throw most of it. BBQ chicken was very hard as it got over cooked. They are cooking the chicken fully at their restaurant and just heating them up at the venue. This makes it really hard. Prawns tasted very raw. Vegetarian starters were good. No complaints. And veg dinner was good too. Al though their customer service is very good, definitely not at all happy with the quality of their food. We paid around INR 10k which is nominal for the whole package, but we felt like it was an utter waste of money as no one enjoyed...
