Stellar Gelato & Cafe — Restaurant in Zone 15 Sholinganallur

Good things first. The Gelato is very good. Nice flavour options. Good ambience. Now to the not so good part - They charge 180 + gst for a single scoop and 250/- + gst for a double scoop. But the strange part is if you as a single person want to have two scoops you have to take it in a single cup only. if you choose to say ask the ice cream tender to give you the two different flavours in two different cups (because you don't want the flavours to mix) they will charge for two single scoops which is Rs 130/- more than what they would charge you for a double scoop. I could understand this if the two scoops were being shared by two people. However if a single person is eating two scoops this protocol seems weird. Also when you tell the ice cream tender that you want to have two scoops he will ask you if you want this in two separate cups almost prodding you to go for two single cups. While paying the bill you realise why this prodding. I tried to explain this to the cashier but he gave me reasons like sir the (paper) cup charges are extra and then something to do with gst. Didn't really make much sense. Sweet creamy gelato unfortunately leaves a bitter taste at the end! I do hope the management can look into this to enhance...

I visited this café for a morning coffee and ordered a cappuccino around 9:00 AM. I waited until 9:30, but the coffee never arrived. I noticed a group of workers crowded around the coffee machine, clearly dealing with an issue. After waiting even longer, the coffee finally came around 9:40—but it looked like milk. I assumed it was just froth on top, but after taking a sip, it tasted like plain milk. When I parted the foam, the color confirmed it had almost no coffee. I brought this to the server’s attention, and she agreed to make a new one. I noticed other customers also returning their coffees.

Again, there was a crowd around the coffee machine. For a café that charges ₹250 for a coffee, the least you’d expect is for them to get it right. In comparison, A2B serves fantastic filter coffee for 1/6 of the price in just 5 minutes. Here, their filter coffee is over ₹200 plus tax, and it takes forever. Avoid the hype of this “Italian brand.” This is my second visit since I live nearby, but the gelato is also overpriced for what’s offered. Hopefully, they fix these issues and start offering real value, not just...

This spot in East Coast Road (ECR) is the recent talk of the town and for all the right reasons. They are known for their handcrafted pure vegetarian gelatos and 100% vegan sorbets🍦

Caprese Omelette served with refreshing watermelon 🍉 Breakfast Hash with sausage which was so satisfying Avocado Toast was completely loaded with heaps of mushrooms, served with crispy potato wedges Their fancy tower egg salad sandwich was an easy 10/10 definitely on my books
