Dinner at Zhouyu has to be one of the most disappointing experiences that I have had.Ordered the prawn and pork dumplings and the center was so hard and almost frozen, it felt like they had served ready to eat frozen dumplings, which I strongly believe they were and I pointed that out to the staff as well. The Shanghai Chicken was not spicy, as shown in the menu but sweet and slightly spicy. The chicken pieces were overcooked and chewey. The Prawn Hakka Noodles ( again using frozen prawns by the look of it) was a disappointment as well. Don't believe the glowing reviews because the experience is exactly opposite. If you are looking for underwhelming food in a fancy restaurant with exorbitant prices, then Zhouyu ECR is the place for you!

I appreciate that you addressed my feedback, but I must reiterate that my experience at Zhouyu was genuinely disappointing and not reflective of the standards one would expect from a restaurant of your calibre and repute.I did bring up the issue with the dumplings during my visit with the staff during the meal. They were hard and cold in the center, which doesn’t align with freshly made dumplings, regardless of the process and is more alarming if the dumplings were freshly made. While I understand that others may have had positive experiences, referring to your 5-star reviews instead of engaging meaningfully with specific feedback comes across as dismissive. My review was intended as constructive criticism, not an attack. I do hope you take it in that spirit and focus on ensuring consistency in quality and experience...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zhouyu ECR, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we entered, the ambience immediately struck me with its aesthetic charm.
