BAD EXPERIENCE !!! On a busy weekday we have gone to this place with friends but we had a really bad experience. Below are the issues we faced one by one :
When we entered the restaurant there was a power cut and it lasted for more than 15 minutes (heard it happens quite often but staffs denies) and the staffs their are least bothered to find us seating maybe they didn't expect the power cut at that time but they have to take care of the customer come who come with hunger.
Somehow we got the seat but then we got our dishes after 25+ minutes that too with multiple reminders.
Mutton Biriyani and Mutton Chukka was really good but Chicken Chinthamani was chilled out and not good, quantity was very less and price was too high for the dishes we ordered. One Mutton Biriyani won't be sufficient to a person who is hungry so you tend to buy another one but price is too High.
We have also ordered one additional Mutton Biriyani it took almost 25+ minutes that too the server informing the kitchen only after 20th minute. Just for one additional biriyani it took 25+ minutes not acceptable at all.
Their own branded water bottle which is readily available on the table appeared to be old one but water taste was decent. Suggest you to get branded water bottle but it's not ofcourse free too.
There was multiple complaints from next table saying chicken is chilled out, delay in service and false promises on the dishes which was quite uncomfortable for us to eat peacefully as we were already facing our...
Read moreWe went to this useless Nungambakkam outlet on 24th June around 5pm.
We had a very bad experience at this branch from the moment we arrived. The entrance was flooded with soapy water as they were cleaning the entire place, making it extremely difficult to even step inside. When I asked how customers were expected to enter, the staff casually responded, “We clean like this every day,” and made a narrow path for us to walk through.
We were then made to sit in a small, gloomy, and unhygienic room. It was poorly lit, had no ventilation, and was swarming with flies. There was just one large, dirty table with no proper seating or space. The service was quite poor—there were no staff present, and we had to call out loudly to get someone to take our order. Even worse, the person cleaning the floors was the same person serving food, which raised serious concerns about hygiene and professionalism.
The food itself was far from impressive—bland, unappetising, and certainly not worth the money. Even after we finished eating, the main restaurant area was still being cleaned, and I couldn’t even use the washroom because the floor was covered in soap water.
I definitely wouldn’t recommend Junior Kuppanna especially Nungambakkam Branch to anyone. Not worth the...
Read moreThe restaurant is to your left when you proceed from Uthamar Gandhi Road to Kodambakkam via Dr. M.G.R Salai . Valet parking available. We went there around 1415 hours , to have Lunch . The restaurant was crowded & we have to wait for 5 to 10 minutes to have a seat . Ambience is not great & the Rest rooms & Wash basins are not illuminated properly , giving you a creeping feeling .
The waitress who attended us , is an ever smiling lady . We ordered a Vegetarian Meals , a Non Vegetarian Meals , a Chicken Biryani, a Nattu Kozhi Pepper Fry , a Chicken Pallipalayam, a Mutton Chukka, 4 Sweet & Salt Lime , an Omelette, a Sizzling Brownie, a Vanilla Bean & a Paan . It costed us Rs.2628 . Somewhat costly , isn't it?
The Ambience disappointed me . The Mutton Kolambu & the Fish Kolambu not upto the mark . Mutton Kolambu tasted bland & Fish Kolambu tasted too sour. I belong to Erode the native soil of Kuppanna & as such I found out the Non Vegetarian meals not so delicious.
The loyalty programme as advertised by the outlet, requires elaboration . Instead they can offer spot discount for the bill . It will encourage customers .
I came to know that there are already 16 branches of the outlet in Chennai alone & it specializes in...
