HOB (House Of Billa) Restobar — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Well, i don't even know where to start this one. I gave it an entire week to think about before sharing my experience at House of Billa. Located in the Nungambakkam, it is a part of The King's Park hotel. I was very excited to visit this place based on the star count on Swiggy dineout. I also booked the table through swiggy and i chose this place to celebrate an important milestone in my life. And i regret the choice. I booked a table for 6pm and yet there was no proper table reserved. I was seated at a very narrow two seater table with the table next to me in a very digusting state( the guests had left it that way but their bags were still there). We requested to be moved to a different table. And after a long wait, we were moved to a different table. we have ordered the food and drinks, the food came out rather quickly but the first round of drinks were rather late as they didn't bring it by until after we asked whatever happened to our order. They said they assumed we would have it with the food. Always ask the guests, do not assume. After being moved to the second table, after a while we were asked to move to another table as this table was reserved for a bigger party. Table no 3 was right next to the speakers so we asked them for a different table. While this was happening, another waiter came and cleared the plates (one with food still on it) while i was still sitting at the table. He didnt ask me or anything. They kept apologising and i could see how sorry they were but it did not change my annoyance. i moved to table no3 when singers started setting up shop and started singing nice ilayaraja songs. I would have definitely enjoyed the entire set had i not been seated in front of the speaker. I asked to be moved again stating that my ears were hurting. And i was moved to a table no 4 where the floors were covered in know not what but my nice footwear is just ruined. I took a break and entered the restroom only to find used tissues all over the place and the floors extremely wet. I had asked the front desk for help and they did get someone in to clean it but guided me to a restroom upstairs. Coming to the food, the french fries tasted like they were cooked in recycled oil. the onion rings were bland, spicy crispy corn tasted delicious adn these panneer fritters (not the exact name) were decent. I had a very upset stomach the following day and needed a day or two to recover. I do not know if it was just the food or the entire experience as well. But it is safe to say i may not be returning to this place anytime and would not recomment it to anyone i know either. Note: The waiters were friendly and quick on their feet....

Visited this Bar today , I have been visiting to this BAR regularly for more than 2 years , My bill was more than 4k today , Every staff at the Bar moved and behaved with me so nice today except one staff naming CIBI , He was very arrogant in replying to me today, He spoiled all my good mood today, He kept reducing the sound often I asked him why are reducing the volume which was kept by other staff by keeping so low. In reply He said don't call my name to irritate me and if you want you can choose another Bar, To the shock and surprise I escalated this matter and his attitude and my treatment to the reception and other fellow staffs in the Bar , They said management side is Suporting him unconditionaly so he has been behaving even to his colleagues and picking fight with his Co -Staffs often , Due to the Management Support he has been behaving like this to customers and fellow staffs for many months now , They furthe said he has behaving like this to even fellow staffs and customers for a while and asked me to write a Google review so that M.D Will see and take action as they are helpless in this issue, Staff Cibi hardly stood at the Bar counter today for the work, He only take this job as a fun , Staff like Vijay, Abu and yuvaraj were helpful and duty conscious in their work at the BAR , All these are professional in their work

Would like to tell that this is a star hotel no ordinary hotel so I would like to be treated by the way other star hotel treats me , When a person is misbehaving with the co-stffs and customer on regular baisis it's high time Management take severe action against a erring staffs either to sack him or remind him about his Actions and manners to the customers , Request Hotel M.D and management to Take severe action against Bar staff Mr.CIBi for his Ugly manners, Attitude and words to the customers and Co staffs, Request management not to recruit person of low standard for the hotel of this size ,Thank you

This is to Report that the PUB in the ground floor is not safe for the ladies/girls. Myself and my wife used to go all the Elite Pubs and we have not got encountered any kind of situation what we faced here!. Exactly, what had happened was, i left my wife in the reserved seat and went rest room and while i was back, A man in the group of three, had already misbehaved with my wife and no action was taken by the bouncers. Before we could do anything his friends resisted us. Meanwhile, i was making a quarrel out of it demanding to meet the managers and the owner of the pub, The bouncers were resisting me instead of throwing him out, The workers literally grounded me and they were about 15-20 people staff who surrounded me and did not take any action about the bad touch and misbehavior. I was threatened by their staff to not make any kind of scene but they did not have guts to take any action against him rather than convincing me for not spoiling the reputation of the pub. I believe it is the responsibility of the bouncers and the managers to show involvement in these kind of situation in the right way by taking action against the offenders. Neither they have thrown him out, Neither they made him apologies. The offender left in the middle of the chaos and i could not stop him since i was surrounded by the crowd. Meanwhile, the Police arrived and could not do any about it since that guy ran away and i was told by the police to register the complaint against him. How will i file the complaint without knowing his identity. The PUB refused to gave his identity from the registry they maintain which is very absurd and not supportive at all. Usually, We go to the place to have fun and enjoy the atmosphere but unfortunately they have no proper security and management. This incident happened on 13th of july (Saturday). We, personally dont recommend any couple/ young women to attend the pub here as there is no guaranteed...
