Edit 27/11/2023: Update: I made the original post the next day after the accident, I would like to advise patrons to still go to OTR but just park their cars themselves instead of giving it to the valet. here is the reason why? i) OTR promised that their vendor, one Mr. Hariharan, who also took the responsibility for causing the accident, will get the damage fixed. ii) I was quoted 25,000 (approx.) to fix my car, I call Mr. Hariharan and he tells me that he hardly makes 800 rupees a day and that because of Pooja and Diwali he will only be able to pay 2000 rupees. In subsequent follow-ups he says his father is ill and he is very poor and is unable to take the expenses. iii) At this point, I had given up as the stress of following up and frustration i had gone through is not worth my time to talk to someone who is already playing a poor person iv) Last week Mr. Hariharan calls me and asks me to take down my original post and begs me that If i don't he would loose his job. I ask him to have someone from OTR talk to me and he says he has already lied to OTR that he has settled my damages.

v) This damage has significantly reduced my car's value which is no fault of mine vi) The own damage claim I made will cause me to lose my No Claims Bonus, which means my insurance will be expensive next year vii) It took about a week for my car to be fixed that caused me to spend money out of my pocket to travel to work and back viii) I had to cancel all other personal plans while my car was getting fixed ix) The whole horror of dealing with someone who says they are very poor and keeps telling lies after lies. I did not go to Hariharan's house, I went to OTR but I had to deal with Hariharan as OTR won't take any responsibility. x) Till date I have received zero remedy, compensation and not even an apology for the ordeal.

I have a letter written and signed by Mr, Hariharan and I have made an entry in Ashok Pillar police station about the incident without filing a case. I can also provide at least 10 witnesses who can testify to the incident if needed.

If OTR wants anything from my end, they can talk to me and compensate for all the damages, expenses and frustration they have put me through, instead of arm twisting their "supposedly poor" driver Mr. Hariharan to beg me to take my post down. If you want to take on this legally, I am open. Stop playing this game and take responsibility. The valet smashed my car and broke the entire left side doors, the management was very quick in washing their hands off of the issue, don't go here, their valet drive s can't drive and will break your car into seven pieces. I have had a really bad experience with the staff and the place even though the ambience was nice. Let me share the two incidents which are BIG RED FLAGS for me.

1. I went to use the washroom and when I entered there was a young guy inside the female's washroom. He carried his beer bottles inside. He saw me and went, "Oh! Is this the female's washroom? Oh! I am really sorry!" I came out and there was a staff whom I informed of the same. He went in and they spoke to each other something. The guy had another friend inside who was using the bathroom. He came out and saw the word "Eve" mentioned on the door and his reply was, "Eve? How will anyone understand Eve and Adam? You mention Men's and Women's." He profusely apologised while the staff waited for his friend to exit.

Question for the staff: Don't you pay attention to who is visiting and what they are doing?

2. The second incident is what raised big, big RED FLAGS. My friend, who is an NRI, was visiting the place for the second night in a row. One of the staff recognised him and after the first round of orders, he came and whispered something in his ears. So, I asked him, "What did he say?" My friend said that the staff said that their card machines aren't working and they are only accepting cash. I was flabbergasted but didn't say anything. How can such a huge and new establishment have such a problem? Later, the same staff came and whispered in my friend's ears that systems are down and so he cannot produce the bill. The amount he mentioned was 3170 INR, and they expected us to pay in cash. I asked my friend how can one not provide a bill? While my friend was arranging cash, I noticed another customer paying by card opposite to our table. I asked my friend to keep his cash and we went to the counter. I asked the guy to first give the bill which he did without any argument. While he was preparing our bill he told me, "For some, the card is accepting and for some, it isn't." I replied, "How can you make me believe that your establishment is facing such a problem?" I stood right next to him as he prepared the bill. He had to be corrected about what we ordered and when the bill finally came, it was 3034 bucks. I took the receipt. And even my friend was able to pay by card. If you were someone who didn't pay attention to such incidents, you would have been royally fleeced.

Also, we ordered whiskey which usually people wouldn't. I now wonder if they were authentic. However, this is me being highly cynical of this place.

Recommend people to be cautious before visiting this place....
