SEASON 4 RESIDENCES - NUNGAMBAKKAM — Hotel in Zone 9 Teynampet

Hi, please do not chose this place to stay, it is pathetic. I wouldn't have given even 1 star if there was a provision. The rooms are stingingly bad. One could get sick due to this bad and foul smell. While I entered the room the smell was so strong that I started feeling nausea and hence walked out to puke. My colleague went to tell them this and said we wont be able to check-in since there is a medical issue due to the bad odor in the room and she asked to refund the advance amount they took from us while online booking was made (Rs. 5000) they just denied. When we said that we want to speak to the GM or the MD, they said we cant speak to them and leave. They were so intimidating that we had to leave without even getting our money back. And then they have replied back to us on the mail that we were 'NO SHOW'. Also note that in Agoda it was mentioned book now and pay at the hotel and the booking was done, while we called them to confirm they said the booking has not been done and if we have to block we have pay upfront thats why we had to make this payment and now they are not ready to even refund the amount at all. BEWARE PEOPLE THEY ARE 'CHEATERS' Please do not book in this hotel it is waste of money and they are not at all supportive. The place is untidy and filthy. DO NOT BOOK unless you want to feel the same as I felt. Also note this is not a fake review or a review from their competitor. I am a woman working at Kerala and had to visit to Chennai for official purpose and lost my money to these fake reviews mentioned that the hotel is good....

If you are the person who cares for cleanness hygiene, i will say you can have better options nearby if you are ready to spend around 1000 more. This was pathetic. We booked the family suite for two days. We have been forced to pay advance to avoid cancelation which we did. When we reached and got the room, very bad and foul smell was coming. Asking the staff on the same. He said since it was cleaned in morning and was closed hence the smell is. We asked if room freshener can be sprayed. He brought something on spray bottle and sprinkle it. Bedsheets were like not cleaned and smelling. We couldn't sleep properly because spring of the bed is horrible and got backache. Bathroom was not having different story. Not cleaned. Flushing in toilet was not properly working and talking lot of time for refill. TV unit was not working and i was said only Tamil or free channel will come. But none was coming, the subscription was not active and post reachrge it started working. If you want good food for lunch or dinner either do zomato or be ready for a walk of 10 to 15 min. While I found staff were very helpful the property really need a lift up. Surprisingly While Asking about these problems with one of staff he said these are issues since long and when we tell our managers, they said no one complaint about these and only any people from North comes you are telling these. So bottom line. Property and their owners need a change in thinking for better customer services....

My stay at this hotel was primarily chosen due to its proximity to the US Consulate, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a decision I deeply regret. I had requested an early check-in and was allowed to check-in at 7:15 am. However, my experience took a nosedive the following morning when I was abruptly awakened at 6:30 am and was asked to check out within 30 minutes. It was disheartening to learn that this early check-in came with an unexpected and inconvenient early departure requirement. Had I been informed about this policy during check-in, I would have adjusted my arrival time accordingly. Unfortunately, my concerns were disregarded, and I was forced to vacate the room prematurely. This experience left me feeling utterly disappointed and frustrated. I firmly believe that no guest should be subjected to such treatment, being forced to check out at 7 am simply because they availed of an early check-in.

Furthermore, I was dismayed by the lack of cleanliness throughout the hotel. The bathrooms were in a deplorable state, and the room walls bore evident marks of neglect. It was evident that proper cleaning had been neglected, and this only added to my discomfort and dissatisfaction during the stay.

All in all, I can NOT, in good conscience, recommend this place to anyone seeking accommodation in the area. The combination of unprofessional service and subpar cleanliness made my experience here deeply unpleasant. I urge you to explore other options...
