Genuinely the BEST hidden gem café in Bali - local, unique, healthy AND homegrown in the community garden? Wow - can't believe somewhere like this exists amidst the hustle and bustle of Canggu! Every café can start feeling the same with avo sourdough toast and smoothie bowls in this part of Bali... But Jiwa is a delicious breath of fresh air. Next to the graffiti-strewn mansion, and down a rocky path, you discover this cool, green, bamboo space with friendly puppies and a small menu containing unique local Indonesian dishes and ingredients rather than the same old imported, tourist-led dishes. The pared-back menu means that you can't order wrong... everything looks delicious and done to perfection. There is a giant shala for events, swinging hammocks, and different garden chill-out areas for coworking and catch ups. There are vintage decorations and a homemade community vibe. I'm truly blown away and almost want to keep this place a secret so it doesn't change! Try it for yourself, explore the community garden and watch your where your food is grown 🥺 I'm going to come back for the snakefruit and soursop smoothie (I haven't seen anything close to this anywhere else in Canggu) and try EVERYTHING on the menu. The Lak Lak pancakes were chewy, aromatic with Pandan and not too sweet with Gula Merah and had so much variety of fruit. Truly heaven in a bowl. My oat cappuccino was also delicious. Can't recommend enough... I'm gonna be here everyday!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Jiwa café with a friend, and I must say, it was a truly wonderful experience. I didn't expect much because it was in the middle of nothing but from the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with warmth and friendliness by the staff. The café had a cozy and inviting atmosphere We settled into our table near the plants and enjoyed the calming sounds and music as we waited for our drinks. The staff was attentive and friendly, and our orders arrived quickly. My coconut came with a lime slice and tasted absolutely delicious. To top it all off, the café also offered free Wi-Fi access and a charging port which was nice to charge our phones, 5 stars, will definitely come again.

A curious place, when you turn off the busy road to Canggu, you go up the dirt road and find yourself in a closed garden! The cutest cafe, harmonious atmosphere, friendly staff, its own garden for growing fruits and vegetables, which are served right there. Large portions of delicious dishes, delicious coffee. A pleasant pastime. There are hammocks, there is a site for various activities that are scheduled throughout the week, board games, wi-fi, books, and birds singing all around 🤩

Ok so this has to be one of the best breakfasts you can get ... Farm fresh eggs, Urutan from Bali black pigs in Tabanan, greens from the garden, perfect avocado on toast ... All served in the peaceful haven of Jiwa Community Garden ... amidst all the other good things happening there

If you're looking for a change from the usual Canggu hype and mainstream hustle, spend a bit of time here. Great food in a humble roots enviroment ... You're likely to pick up a conversation about something that might expand your day/life a little, with good folk who are drawn together by similar ideals

Love you all, love your food,...
