A perfect Bali breakfast spot—and dinner delight!
I had the most delightful start to my day at 707 Café & Bistro. The atmosphere is both laid-back and refined—with its beachfront charm, breezy setting, and the subtle hum of island life all around.
For breakfast, I ordered the eggs Benedict on avocado toast, which was beautifully plated and absolutely delicious. The poached eggs were spot-on, the avocado was fresh and creamy, and the flavors melded perfectly with the zesty hollandaise. I paired it with a glass of refreshing cucumber juice and a smooth flat white—both flawless.
And just when I thought the culinary magic had peaked, dinner rolled in with a show-stealing combo: the pulled pork burrito bowl and pulled chicken quesadilla. Both were to die for. Rich, tender, perfectly seasoned—they packed serious flavor and hit all the comfort food notes.
But the real highlight? The staff. Out of all the wonderful places I’ve visited in Bali, the team here stands out—they are hands down the friendliest, most welcoming crew I’ve met. Warm, attentive, and full of smiles. They truly deserve all my compliments.
If you’re seeking vibrant flavors, relaxed vibes, and heartfelt hospitality, 707 Café & Bistro is the place. Morning, noon, or night—it’s a vibe you won’t...
Read moreA very beautiful place overall, and we came because the pictures looked stunning. Unfortunately, we had to take quite a detour to get there, and the food turned out to be a big disappointment. The only thing I can honestly say was really good was the fresh juice.
We ordered nachos with toppings and chicken. The chicken was served with a mix of frozen diced vegetables – in a country where fresh produce is everywhere, this was just unacceptable and honestly a total letdown. The dish had nothing interesting about it. The nachos looked great in the photos but had nothing special in taste.
We also ordered pork belly, which for some reason was sliced and thrown into a deep fryer. What we got were just four oily slices, completely stripped of juiciness, crispiness, or flavor. In Bali, pork belly is usually done incredibly well, so serving it this way felt like a complete misunderstanding – almost as if someone was trying to cover up that it wasn’t fresh.
Overall, a sad disappointment. The only positives were the juice and the staff, who at least tried to...
Read moreI ordered cashew chicken with rice.
I was told sorry we can’t do it since we have no more cashew. I asked to do it still but since cashew is missing, maybe add extra veggies.
My food arrived. I had one spoon of chicken, which was also coated and died in flour before. So I estimate I had 20 grams of pure chicken.
I called the service and he said that’s normal, we scale it in the morning in prep each dish in a box.
I said I’m not happy. He said ok.
The restaurant was completely empty due to heavy rain.
I later talked to the representative of the house and explained the same to her. Her answer: thank you for telling us. That’s it. I asked if that’s how u treat customers and take care of customer satisfaction and she said ok.
Bali needs to understand that you won’t exist without tourist. U can’t describe a dish with pictures and text and deliver something else and simply apologise.
Fresh coconut was sold out and that’s it he didn’t ask me if I want something...
