Review of Eden Shisha Lounge, Bali

I first discovered Eden Shisha Lounge during my travels to Bali in 2023, and it quickly became my go-to spot for shisha. The atmosphere was inviting, the selection of flavors was extensive, and the quality of the shisha itself was impressive. I was always excited to return on subsequent trips, but my recent experience in January 2025 left me quite disappointed.

Initial Impressions When I first visited Eden in 2023, I was blown away by the variety of flavors available. The shisha was well-packed and lasted a long time, providing a smooth and enjoyable smoking experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure that everything was perfect. It truly felt like a hidden gem in Bali.

Recent Visit: January 2025 Fast forward to my latest trip in January 2025, and I noticed a stark decline in both the quality of the shisha and the level of service. I visited Eden twice during this trip, hoping for the same great experience I had before.

First Visit On my first visit, I ordered four shishas to share with friends. Unfortunately, only two of them were up to the standard I remembered. The other two were poorly packed and burnt out quickly, leaving us disappointed. To make matters worse, Eden has a “buy 2 get 1 free” promotion, but when we received the bill, I noticed we were charged for all four shishas. Thankfully, my friend caught this error before we paid; otherwise, we would have been overcharged without realizing it.

Second Visit Determined to give Eden another chance, I returned for a second visit. This time, I wanted to order 2-3 shishas. However, after experiencing one that was subpar—flavorless after just five minutes—I hesitated to order more. When I asked the shisha master for assistance, he came over, took a puff from our shisha, and then left without any further communication. After about 15 minutes, he returned with two new charcoals, but unfortunately, the shisha burned out almost immediately afterward.

Feeling frustrated and disheartened by the lack of care and attention to quality, I decided against ordering any additional shishas. I opted for a coconut drink and spent time chatting with my friends.

Conclusion I used to love Eden Shisha Lounge and recommended it to many friends visiting Bali. However, after my recent experiences, I’m sad to say that I won’t be returning. It seems that the focus on quality and customer service has diminished significantly. It’s time for me to explore other shisha lounges in Bali that prioritize both flavor and customer satisfaction.

This is an amazing place. Was there for sushi and sisha. The sushi was great as the salmon was really fresh and of good quality. It it really appealing to the eye the way they serve it which is also a big plus.

The shisha is excellent. They have a wide variety of different hookahs (MattPear, MIG, Regal, etc.) and bowls (Alpaca, Upgrade etc.). They use heat management devices instead of foil which makes it easy for even unskilled hookah smokers to manage the heat of the bowl. They have a wide range of different tobaccos with both Tangiers, Darkside and other quality brands. The shisha smoked for more than two hours and they will cater the hookah with fresh coals and make sure it produces great flavor throughout the entire session. They use silicone hoses and provide plastic mouth tips for hygiene purposes.

The surroundings are beautiful, and the have a pool area with open sky if you want to take a swim. They also have a cosy lounge area, and the music is great and not too loud. The restrooms are clean and new and not hot and humid.

The staff is really friendly and they know their stuff both in regards to hookah and sushi. Really good experience. The price is higher than the bad places around Bali, but the quality is excellent and totally worth it!

Lets start with the pros: Really nice place The staff from security to waitress and shisha makers are excellent but i think during busy times, they get a little overwhelmed serving every tables, which isnt really their fault Food is great. The womens toilet is like a beautiful and different lounge for themselves.

Now unfortunately the cons: When we walked up into the 2nd floor, theres an obvious pungent smell like humid laundry smell. Its not too strong but it is obvious. It could be the ac or sofas but its there. It would’ve been nice to have shisha menu instead of getting a surprise from the shisha maker. At times they do a good job but other times, I wonder if they listened to what i said of what i like.

we came with a heavy smoker friend and got the strong shisha and even she was coughing with every puff. So beware and just do light medium first.

Ac was leaking that made a big spot on the sofa so we had to leave out a size of 1 person seat empty.
