Love this place. The Soto Ayam is the best in Bali. Great atmosphere and very nice service. Drinks are good, oeuvre are reasonable and there are many nearby places to stroll some to after you eat. The choice is pretty good as well so it makes for a good spot to just hang out and do your work throughout the day. The wifi is good. Beach is not to far away if you want to take a break. In addition to the three Soto Ayam, the shsshouka is recommended. More of a local expat crowd versus a tourist crowd but it's a good mix. The skylight is nice, makes it bright and airy. I prefer the patio seating though so you can do some people watching while you are here. Parking is plentiful and ready since it shares it with the hotel nearby. Don't further to give the big stuffed beat a big hug when you come. The food comes out quickly and for everyone at the table at the same time. Drinks are not wartered down and are not full of ice. The have specials throughout the week, try the steak Thursday special, only 200k idr. They also do shisha but I have not tried, more of an evening...
Read moreNewly renovated restaurant with the previous name that is located not very far from where is it now. The ambiance of the restaurant very nice, I felt very warm and feel that it was home. Service was friendly eventhough we need to raise our hand to get one of the waiter attention. and the price ok compare the restaurant surrounding seminyak area. We we where having our dinner, after looking at the dinner menu my friend was requesting to order from the lunch menu. The waiter was hesitate to show us the lunch menu after a while he presented to us. We order pasta (linguini and bolognese), we waited about 15mnt for the food which it was ok. The food was nicely presented, but sadly it was tasteless so we end up putting few pinch of salt that is provided in the table. We order a apple tartin for dessert to share, for me it was so sweet and the puff pastry was undercooked and soggy to bad apple tartin was my favorite dessert. The drinks was nice and very creative. Overall experience it was an ok restaurant, and potentially can be a great restaurant around...
Read moreNice atmosphere and very pleasant staff. However, let down by a lazy chef. I had the pork belly which was nicely presented but unfortunately the chef forgot to heat the pork belly. Have you ever tried eating pork belly with a warm crispy top and when you put the knife into it, it sinks into a cold fatty "glug" that is totally unpalatable when it reaches your mouth. Yuk! If the chef had taken care and heated it for longer in the microwave it might have been reasonably tasty. (Be reminded, microwave ovens don't heat food that comes out of the refrigerator as easily as a conventional oven). Shame on you chef for being lazy. What could have been a very nice meal ended up being a disaster. Yuk again. The beer was served ice cold in a nice cold glass👍 The lazy chef let down the very nice waitress and other staff who served me. She was disappointed I left so quickly, Will think secondly next time (if there...
