Indigo — Restaurant in Bali

The best sushi restaurants in canggu and is dari one of the best in Bali. The food was great, we had some soup and a variety of rolls and sashimi. The food was fresh, the presentation was very nice but not over the top and the service was impecce, one is the best experiences wrt service I've had in Bali. The prices are higher than other places but not so much more so and the difference in quality makes it more than worth it. We ate upstairs which was quieter since we had our son with us but the downstairs is more lively. The decor and atmosphere is elegant yet subdued, the music was the perfect volume to allow you to talk but not clearly hear the neighboring tables. We tried a variety of tools and honestly they were all good, it's happily order seconds of I could still eat. They had alohloh juice which tasted like guava but a little more earthy and it was very refreshing, I preferred it to my wine to tell you the truth. New japanese restaurant on the finer side. Overall food is ok. The king crab roll, gyoza are nice and spot on but the rest were just mediocre. They could improve more on the service though. We booked a table before our visit there. Their phone reception was bad so it was hard to even hear the host. We came in 5 minutes late as we were bringing toddler too and only to be told our table had been sold to other guest and finally we were given other table with one hour time limit. Waitress was a bit rude and blamed us for not calling the restaurant. Well, for a fine restaurant that charges that much, perhaps the restaurant could do the service to call us and confirm before selling the table to someone else. Went to this restaurant because of friend's recommendation. He said it was spectacular and he went here more than three times. But when i came with him again, it was just okay for me. He was also dissapointed, it wasnt the same mindblowing he remembered. For me it was just okay because it was fusion japanese fine dining, most of them were raw seafood. I found the fish wasnt that fresh because of the texture and i could smell it somehow. I am a big fan of sashimi and i am always sceptical in bali i would find a decent quality of sashimi.
