⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Café Experience That Feels Like a Restaurant — Refined, Welcoming, and Delicious
We had a truly wonderful experience at Satu Satu Coffee in Canggu, one that exceeded expectations and earned a solid 5 stars — with only the smallest areas for improvement.
☕ Impeccable Service & Atmosphere
From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and professional. It’s clear that attention to detail is a priority here — from the neat, coordinated uniforms to the way every order is clearly repeated and double-checked for accuracy. It made us feel well looked after.
While the indoor seating is limited, the café makes excellent use of the space and maintains a relaxed, polished vibe that leans more toward a boutique restaurant than a typical coffee shop.
📖 Menu & Culinary Experience
The menu is diverse and exciting, with dishes drawing inspiration from multiple international cuisines. The inclusion of clear photographs of each item is especially helpful, making it easier to choose with confidence.
The coffee is outstanding — rich, aromatic, and expertly made. I tried the Latte with almond milk, as well as the Luwak coffee, and both were top-tier. Their offering of alternative milks and full coffee style range is impressive and reflects a deep commitment to quality. Honestly, the coffee here rivals the best you’ll find, even in top-tier global chains.
🍽️ Food Quality & Presentation
Meals were beautifully presented and just as enjoyable to eat. The kitchen clearly holds itself to a high standard in both flavour and appearance. We felt we were getting restaurant-level dishes in a café setting, which is rare and impressive.
🍰 Dessert & Dining Comfort
Dessert was a highlight — delicious, rich, and thoughtfully prepared. The only small letdown was the frozen blueberries, which were too cold to enjoy right away. Still, it was a minor blemish on an otherwise delightful dish.
One small point to note: the outdoor area doubles as a smoking section, and this wasn’t made clear during booking. It made it difficult to enjoy the outdoor atmosphere due to smoke. That said, the team responded quickly and kindly to our request to move indoors, which we appreciated.

✅ Final Thoughts
Satu Satu Coffee delivers a first-class café experience — blending exceptional food and coffee with warm, professional service. With a bit more clarity around the smoking policy and small tweaks like fresh (rather than frozen) dessert garnishes, it could be nearly flawless. Regardless, it remains one of Canggu’s true gems, and we’ll definitely...
Read moreI LOVE this place. I've bought many of my friends here over my 3 trips to Bali and this is definitely my local spot when I'm in Canggu. The staff know me by name, and are virtually having my iced coffee and smoothie bowl prepared for me before I sit down (Thanks Saddi for your Amazing service)
I think they have the best iced americano in all of Bali. It's the first time I'd had one that was shaken - it comes out with and incredible crema.
Each time I've gone I've tried to try something different. I've had most of this movie bowls including the Lady Gaga bowl the tropical bowl and the fruit only bowl. All of them delicious.
Between 8 and 10. They have a really. Great breakfast offer where you can get a coffee and an omelet for 60000 Indonesian rupiah. It's great value and it includes hot coffee of your choice. You paragraph.
I have worked remotely from here on many occasions. The upstairs area is air conditioned and closed off far removed from the road noise. It's comfortable and a great place to be able to take calls or meetings if you're working remotely.
To me this place is a 10 out of 10 and I would definitely recommended to anyone who wants to try local Indonesian/Balinese coffee and food with. Great service at very reasonable and...

Top notch service. Couldn't ask for better people to run this place. It's packed when I arrived on Sunday around noon. I rode a scooter and one of the waiter helped me to park my scooter since the parking area was a little bit tight. Right away they greet and seat me, gave me a glass of cold water and asked if I ready to order. The food came out quickly and the waiters were all very handy and helpful, always ready to get everything I need in seconds. Hospitality at its best!

The plus sides, they're cheap, and has pretty good variety of food. I had Batu Bolong (avocado bacon cream cheese bagel) and Fruit Salad with Yogurt and Honey. Also ordered a cup of Americano.
The quality of the food were not amazing, but with the pricing, it's definitely worth it. I've had better coffee elsewhere with the same price. But everything else was satisfying.
Since it can be really packed during brunch time, so you may get seated with other guests in a shared table. But it's not at all a problem. Otherwise there's gonna be a little bit of wait, but...
