Me and my girlfriend ate here a few times and it was quite nice at first. Iām strongly allergic to onion and garlic so have to order my food without as you can imagine itās quite hard in Indonesia where everything comes with garlic and onion. First few times the food came with no onion no garlic, great.
One day I ordered the same, and reminded without garlic and onion as I have an allergy.
The meal came with lots of garlic inside so I ended up eating garlic and ended up in a bad reaction. They werenāt apologetic and didnāt make effort to make it better for me, just brought out a new one without onion and garlic, it was a very stressful experience for me and I left feeling very bad and also mistreated and not taken seriously. At least they could have offered a complementary something for the trouble and stress caused from the mistake. I get it that mistakes are made but allergies should be taken very seriously, and I probably said without onion and garlic about 3-4 times before ordering to make sure.
Anyway, I didnāt want to go back there but my girlfriend wanted to eat there so I decided to try it again, when we walked inside, the same woman who took my order before was very rude to us, remembering that Iām the person with the allergy but was just very rude which of course wasnāt nice to experience. I felt discriminated just because I canāt eat onion and garlic like Iām a ādifficult personā
Would never go back here or recommend...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to try this place as saw it a bit crowded a couple of times. Food was ok, but not spectacular. I specred better options in the menu. I opted for maki g my own breakfast whixh consisted of gluten free bread, beetroot hummus acodado slices and crispy bacon. They had run out of avocados and went to get them at the market (yes, literally) but they asked me if I was OK to wait. I didn't mind it so said yes. The disappointment was that y the time they got the avocado the bread and bacon were stone cold (I guess it was prepared first). Not very pleasant to eat cold bacon. The coffee was good. And the service was alright. Somehow though the place felt a bit claustrophobic, at least that was my reaction that day. And the outside sitting is limited, mostly with those who bring their pets and some street dogs (which is unavoidable in Bali). They do have an interesting mural painting inside. I might give it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe only plus is AC I ordered halloumi and avocado toast. Bread was burnt and black. Poached eggs were extremely hot , that is why bread under it was wet. Quinoa bowl lacks souce. So difficult to swallow. Cappuccino was very hot. It shouldnāt be like this. So the texture was different. We tried this place only because we came to see one villa nearby. The seats are very high and the table is low , so not comfortable to sit on the table. Overpriced for that quality of food and comfort. I disrecommend this place. Also, there were few big dogs outside. One came to the cafe and came to all visitors searching for food. Btw the cafe is small. If you are dogs-friendly is ok. But what if not , or...
