Synkonah — Restaurant in Bali

I didn't want to write this review, actually. But i was not just disappointed with the food, but it also made me physically sick, and i think people should know, and hopefully, they will learn!!!

I had a Christmas dinner last year at this restaurant and it was great. They served the food fresh and warm. Everything come at once on the table, and everyone can pick whatever they want to eat between beef, lamb, and chicken. The grill/fried potato was warm and crispy, and it was great.

3 months ago, i took my friend for dinner there, and her chicken served with blood in it. Not cooked properly. I sent them a whatsapp and told them how disappointed it was and they just said sorry but when we asked the food was good. It's because my friend didn't want to make big fus, so she just let it slide. But it's not fair because i spend over 500k for 2 person dinner 1 meal each, and yes. I paid for it.

Then this year my bf really wanna go back for chirstmas dinner as it was great last year and so i give it a try, then me and my family went back.

But this time is a huge disappointment, and some of us, including myself, got bad food poisoning.

This time, they serve the meals per plate, and we don't get to pick everything anymore because they serve per plate and the meat based on choice. I got this information after i paid. Bear in mind it's 500k per person.

The potatoes were so cold and soggy. Partly white and partly dark brown because it was burned and didn't cook properly.

The appetizer was an oyster. I ate 4 of the oysters.

Then the main course arrived, which was the meat. ALL THE FOOD WERE SERVED COLD!!!! Beside cold the meat weren't soft and well cooked. Medium steak with a rubber ban texture.

Then, the next day, i had big diarrhea. My poo all came up in water even tho i ate steak and grilled potato and oyster. My stomach was hurt a lot, so i go easy on the food and only ate plain rice with steam vegetables and tofu, but i didn't feel great. Today, i felt very nueaseas and been vomiting all day with my stomach so much in pain. I checked online, and i might get food poisoning by the oyster, which was not fresh or the meat that they served cold,...

Update : Gotta come here for the Sunday roast, the lamb is delicious !!!!

Nice place across from atlas Beach Club. They have good food at reasonable but not cheap prices. The drink was good, not watered down but not overly sweet as dinner on some places. It's a cool crowd and the music is not too loud so you can have a real conversation with your party. The second floor had a private party so we Dien get a chance to sit there. They used to be a lot busier before the atlas club opened since it had a good mall inside. I hope they continue to get business because it's a nice place. Would definitely recommend the lamb plate

For breakfast , the pulled pork sandwich is the best, yes pulled pork for breakfast, you won't be disappointed and it comes with a free coffee

Wednesday has a 50k sangria...

I've been coming to Synkonah's for about 6 months now and I can honestly say hand on heart - it's a fabulous restaurant.

The decor is unique from the walls to the light fittings. The food is always spot on with decent size portions and taste. I especially love and recommend the Parma chicken -great offer on at the moment on Thursdays -50k! Oooh and the Sunday roast is like a taste of home.

The staff are lovely and considering English is their second language I'm amazed by their attentive and accurate service, ensuring they always repeat what you've ordered back to you. If you need to split your bill, they always help you to work it out.

The managers have obviously taken the time to train their staff to a high standard...
