Monsoon Restaurant — Restaurant in Bali

This was the worst service I have experienced in all of Indonesia. I had to wait over an hour for some snacks, and even then, I only received part of my order. I eventually canceled and decided never to return. As a "walk-in guest," I was required to pay upfront (they even charged too much, but due to my experience yesterday, I didn't care), and getting a refund was a nightmare. Yesterday, I visited Finns next door, and the service there was outstanding and in a completely different league. I didn't have to pay upfront, the service was amazing, and everything was perfect. But here, I am really disappointed.

The atmosphere here is great, which is the one good thing I can say about this place. 😤 I don't like to write bad reviews, but I have to. After this, they even tried to charge for service. What kind of service are we talking about? I had to pay it because it's not possible for them to remove it from the receipt. This is not what should be expected from such an awesome beach club. 😔 Since Finns is absolutely awesome, I reported this to the manager at Finns. Hopefully, they fix...

The atmosphere and service was great! There was a DJ, a synth player, a singer, and a lot of dancers + drummers + people in costumes. The servers are very attentive and also double up as hype guys/ladies, and my server Marta was great! They also hand out sprinklers on the hour every hour after sunset, and had some free shots. There is space to dance if you want to, but not really a specified dance floor area. Pretty impressive set up, definitely a nice place to spend an evening.

My only beef was the the food was just "alright". I had nachos, and they were fine, but I'm used to authentic Tex Mex, so it wasn't quite the same/the seasoning wasn't quite there, but that's probably just my problem lol.
