Nelayan Beach — Attraction in Pulau Bali

Not the prettiest or whitest beach, but I loved its local character with a touch of calmness and serenity. There are beach huts with fishermen boat and areas on the far left and right where you can find beach chairs and bags to chill. You can see some surfing activities here on parts where the waves are larger.

I enjoyed my alone time here as a solo female traveller, sat on the quiet beach with a sarong all afternoon to watch the most perfect sunset where it gets relatively more crowded. Felt safe generally and saw many other females, couples and small groups. A good mix of locals...

Pleasant beach, ideal for strolls along Long Beach and watching the sunset. Restaurants serving regional cuisine and fishing boats can be found in this area. It has a more rowdy atmosphere, and it's one of my top picks for beaches in the Canggu area. From this location, it is possible to stroll all the way to the major beach clubs. Due to the fact that it is more of a natural beach, I did not notice any sun loungers or anything like that. Although the water is pleasant and you are welcome to go swimming, I did not observe any surfers in the area...

I think this is the only beach in the area that still retains their traditional character. Along the coast there are only small huts where fishermen keep their boats. A cafe or warung is just a temporary building made of wood. Still we can see trees and shrubs although not as much as it used to be.
