If I could give this restaurant a rating of -1, I absolutely would. This place is a disaster on every level—from the outrageous prices to the abysmal quality of the food and service. It’s not just bad; it’s a complete waste of money and time.
Let’s start with the food: low-quality ingredients slapped together in a way that makes me wonder if anyone in the kitchen has ever even heard of Italian cuisine. The pizza was a travesty—thick, soggy dough that tasted raw in the middle, topped with cheap, greasy salami that made me feel sick just looking at it. To say it’s Italian food is an insult to Italy. I get better pizza from an average chain restaurant in Singapore, and that’s at a fraction of the cost.
To top it all off, we were surprised at the end with hidden charges, including an absurd service charge that wasn’t even remotely justified. It felt like we were being scammed.
And the worst part? We got food poisoning. This meal ruined our trip, and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. It’s clear they’re cutting corners on hygiene and food safety, and it shows.
Save yourself the regret, the wasted money, and possibly a ruined vacation. Avoid this place...

Dining at Cantina Classe was a true culinary delight. From the moment we stepped in, the warm, rustic ambiance set the tone for an authentic Italian experience. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive.
We started with the bruschetta trio, and it was the perfect way to awaken our appetite—fresh tomatoes, creamy burrata, and a drizzle of olive oil that transported us straight to Tuscany. For mains, we had the homemade truffle pasta and the wood-fired Margherita pizza. The pasta was al dente, rich, and flavorful, while the pizza had that perfect chewy crust with just the right amount of char.
Drinks-wise, their Negroni was spot on, and the house red wine paired beautifully with our meal.
To end the night, we shared a classic tiramisu—light, not overly sweet, and full of depth.
Overall, Cantina Classe nails it on all fronts: food, vibe, and service. A must-visit if you're in Canggu and craving high-quality Italian cuisine in a cozy,...
Read moreOne of the few places open late (until 3 AM) — and that’s really its main selling point. We went around 11:30 PM. Our waiter didn’t speak English, so even simple questions were tricky to get across. Prices are low, and so is the quality and the experience. The truffle pizza had no truffle in sight, just button mushrooms. The dough was pure frozen-pizza quality.
Pasta-wise, the bolognese was Barilla-like, the carbonara was carbonara in name only: plain noodles with an egg, a lone slice of bacon, and cream. Bland, sleepy, and frankly a crime against the recipe. The fried mini mozzarella balls were just as underwhelming — flavourless and pointless.
In short, it’s a place that works when you’re starving at 1 AM and nothing else is open — though honestly, you might be better off ordering in, because this place is a crime against Italian cuisine. If you have even a hint of taste and appreciate Italian food, just keep walking.
Unfortunately, we were misled by the high ratings and thought it would be better — but something about the reviews feels off, as...
