Part 1
I don't think it gets any worse than this. The owner and manager should be ashamed of themselves. We arrived at sayan point after sunset. The service was slow, and we felt we had been forgotten. We were a party of 5. One of the meals turned up 20 minutes after the others.
Then things took a terribly turn. I heard the sound that can only be described as a human body hitting the floor. As I looked around, there was a lady lay on the floor at the bottom of some concrete steps. She was screaming in pain. Trying to calm her down my wife asked for some cushions to make her more comfortable as we didn't want to move her. The staff at this time seemed confused about what to do. After my wife and I assessed where the pain was, it was clear that she couldn't get up nor move her left arm. The manager said we should move her as it doesn't look good in front of the customers. We told him to call an ambulance as she was clearly in much pain. At this point, we had no idea what condition her spine was in. Eventually, as it took so long to bring cushions, my 10 year old son found some. They were totally useless and only concerned about making her disappear. The manager then told me to go and finish my food as it was getting cold and he would handle everything. He never made any attempt to speak to the lady, and we had doubts about his intentions in moving her. We said we would stay with her until the ambulance arrived. The ambulance never came, and we doubt it was ever called as this would have made a scene. The manager asked to speak to me in private, and he said she's always doing this. She comes quite often. I replied what faking an injury, and he said no falling over. I could not smell any alcohol on her breath when I was talking to her. I said well this time, it's obviously more serious as she can't get up."" It turns out that the lady I won't use her name is 80 years old. I told the manager that I didn't with to speak with him anymore as he had no intention of helping the lady. I asked him for the owners number, and he refused to give it. I asked for her name, and he refused to give it. I asked if I could speak to her, and he said she was out. At this point, I had had it with him. I walked over to the till where I found, which was obvious to me, the boss. You can always tell who the owner is. I asked her if she was the owner, and she refused to answer. In the end, i asked one of the waiters if the owners she said yes. Both manager and owner shown I'm the pictures refused to step up and own the situation. I confronted the owner, and she admitted she was the owner of sayan point. It was only at this point that she made herself present in the situation. She also advised me that there was nothing wrong with her. After 80 minutes, she was still lying on the floor, screaming in pain. The injured lady's housekeeper was eventually contracted, and she attended. She managed to calm her down. Although the time she lay on the floor, she said she needed to go to the hospital. We slowly managed to get her to her feet, and the housekeeper said she would drive her to the hospital. I asked the elderly lady if she was OK with this, and she agreed.
This was an old lady of 80 years old confused and in much pain.
After they had left, we told the staff how discussed we were with the handling of it all. They just said sorry. I asked if they had parents or grandparents, and they said yes. I replied I hope they are lucky enough to have someone like my wife, and i are looking out for them if they ever have a fall."
I sat and ate the remainder of my cold food. The could of offered to reheat it. They could have offered to bring out new dished. They did nothing.
Eventually, the owner came to our table. She obviously wasn't bothered about the situation at all. Every question we asked her, she responded with an avoiding answer. We asked for the bill and then paid it.

Read moreThe most beauty place in Bali for sunset time! I will def recommend this to any of my friends if they are passing by Ubud. Today I went there for the first time and I wanted to go to the pool area but was already reserved by someone else and I couldn't access unfortunately, they told us we need to book it in advance and they mention us that there was a minim to expend by that area, we decide to stay for less than 20min to take some photos and enjoy the sunset, I order a juice and when I was about to pay the manager say that I have a minim of charge of 200k rupias, I was shocked since the team never informed that in all areas there is a minim of spend ( I totally understand that and Im happy to spend that money but we didn't drink or eat more cause we had dinner booked somewhere else ) I explain the team very nicely the miss communication about the minim spend and seems they did not understand my position since the manager told me im not welcome there ever again. I was very disappointed with her answer since for me this was a miss communication, if I knew I have to spend minim of 200k I will have order some food or more drinks but we didn't cause we were about to leave soon. I understand miss communication can happen and im sorry for that. I hope the owner read this caption and understand that we really like this place and service was also beauty but we didn't mean to offend anybody today, we just wanted to pass quick since we could not use the pool and stay longer. I will love to come back again and do a reservation of the pool and have dinner there with more time and I hope the team accept my apology and let me access to this beauty place...
