Very beautiful, little visited path that in my opinion gives an authentic picture of the rice fields and the way of life there. The path is about 1.8 kilometers long, flat throughout and very pleasant to walk. Since it is mostly accompanied by a stream, the climate was very pleasant!

Tip: If you want to walk a little longer and see more of authentic Ubud, you can start at "Cupit BBQ" a little south of the path, walk via the Rice Field Walk to the "Pura Pucak Payogan" temple, take a coffee break at "Keliki Coffee" with a view of a green gorge and then return via the "Campuhan Ridge Walk" downhill to Ubud (approx. 7 km). Very...

this is not a “rice field walk”

you CAN try to walk there but keep in mind that this is very narrow, exactly 2 scooter wide road intended for quick transportation between rice fields

if you try to walk there you will need to stop to let any scooter driver pass doing manouvers on the edge of the road

the road is a narrow concrete pavement with deep rice drainage on each side deep enough to cause trouble if your scooter will fall there.

beside all of that - unique views and experience 😀

i might publish video from...

Cute place, I do not recommend riding a scooter along it.

Careful on how to get there as well, there is only enough room for one bike to drive, so you will have to stop to let bikes past , there is also bikes parked on the middle of the way, no protection rail on the sides, and no signs. My girlfriend got injured there, so be aware, and when you see the path getting thinner, park and go by foot cause the mark on google Maps is the center of the main walkway, not the beginning...

This is such a cute rice paddy walk with less people than the other rice paddy walks. We've been twice, and we've only seen one other tourist there and a handful of motorbikes passing by. We just follow the directions on Google Maps, from Alam Green Lotus, and after a short walk along cute streets, the rice paddies appear. There are a lot of ducks in some of the fields - so adorable. At the end of the walk, on the main street, is Unity Cafe, where we've been having coconuts after our walks.
