Read moreToday my boyfriend and I went there for heaving dinner. We arrived a few minutes before 9 pm. We were rushed to place our order because the kitchen closes at 9pm. A sign at the road says that they are open until 10 pm :-/ As our drinks came the glass felt over me. So the entire glas of lemonade went over me and my backpack. Accidents can happen, that's not the case. But I was not asked if I was hurt. The glass felt on me and got broken. There had been some big sharbs .. Afterwards I had to ask for to towels because all my clothes were wet and I had to wash and dry myself. Even everything inside my backpack - including my battery pack - went wet. so I don't know yet if it will still work. The soup I ordered which I got together with our drinks was no longer really hot after I cleaned myself and my belongings. I had to walk home with wet clothes - so this was a really bad night for me and of course I could not enjoy my meal. Regarding the food: The lemonade came without ice but with sugar on the side (not syrup). Everywhere in Bali they gave you syrup for the sweetness because you cannot blend sugar in a cold drink. So we didn't drink our drinks and the food was honestly the badest we ever ate on Bali. The food was not really good. As the bill came we had to pay for everything - no compensation. As I was not very happy about that I was told to come back tomorrow to speak to...

Pros: Great scenic place in the morning. Villas are in middle of a forest. A small river flows through the resort & you need to cross a bridge from reception area to reach the villa
Cons: *Villas are completely made out of wood. It is closer to jungle lodge and it should definitely not be called as a resort Food is pathetic. We ate twice and it was stale and inedible Place is severely understaffed. We didn't get a porter to help with luggage during checkin and checkout properly . Place will be a nightmare in the night. Rooms have poor lighting with only 3-4 small bulbs. Door latches don't lock properly. Gave me a haunted house vibe, and didn't feel secure Room is not sound proof. You can hear insects and frogs very loud all night & I could barely sleep until 2-3am Door had gaps as well, so any insect can technically come inside the villa . Lot of stairs and walking to reach villa. Not ideal elderly.
Summary: Book only if you are a bit adventures / have been to jungle lodges before. But if you are looking for a secure luxury hotel type vibe, don't book this . Ambience is eye candy in the day, but scary in the night Rooms definitely need an upgrade in the interiors and ambience to...
