KATSU•SAN — Restaurant in Bali

I never been to other part of Ubud called Sayan, perhaps it was me the one who need to explore more farther than the forest where the apes lives.

Lets dig in... A small tiny joint with wholeheartedly prep and served their menus with love and joy without sacrificing the quality. Yaa, that's what I felt about this spot. They may not be fulfill everyone's desires but they did surely know whats on their game. So who needs a michelin rating restos when you get quality foods and service from the place far from the glitters. At least, it was me :)

I had a bowl of chicken katsu don. Basically, a bowl of rice with fried boneless chicken breast with egg and Japanese sauce.

Its juicy, tender and mild. The portion can hold me for a day. Ohh their fried mashed potatoes with ham and cheese is the bomb 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽

Pricewise? It is bank for the buck.

A simple Nippon delicacy to try on especially when you are missing the hustle bustle of Shinjuku.

The only setbacks is no toilet, so we gotta go gelatos next door for it. But heyyy, why don't we support these local...

After having just travelled through Japan and 3 other countries this was one of the best curries we have tried, we had the chicken Katsu, pork belly teriyaki, ham and cheese Croquette and pork gyoza. Everything was delicious!! We are lucky enough to be staying close by so this will not be our last visit! Great chat with the owner such a chill guy. We had such a great meal here! We ordered the chicken gyozas to start—absolutely delicious. My husband had the curry rice and I had the chicken katsu with steamed rice, and I loved every bite. The flavors were spot on and the portions just right.

We actually came here because it was within walking distance from our hotel and we wanted something nearby, and we’re so glad we did! The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and fast.

We’d definitely come back again without a doubt....
