I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shrimpis, and I can confidently say that it's a seafood lover's paradise. From the moment I walked through the door until the last bite, my experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Shrimpis has truly mastered the art of creating a memorable dining experience.
Let's dive right into the highlights of my meal. The Grilled Shrimp stole the show with its exceptional quality and freshness. Each succulent bite was bursting with flavor, perfectly capturing the essence of perfectly cooked shrimp. The smoky char added a delightful twist, making it a dish I won't soon forget.
The White Wine Clam Pot was a delightful surprise. While it may have been 50% of what you were expecting, I found it to be enjoyable and fresh. The plump clams soaked in the rich, flavorful broth created a delightful symphony of tastes. Although a touch more intensity in the flavors would have been appreciated, I can't deny that it was still a satisfying dish.
Ah, the Scallop—a true gem at Shrimpis. These juicy morsels were an absolute delight to the palate. Cooked to perfection, they boasted a delightful sear that locked in all the natural sweetness and tenderness. Each bite was a heavenly experience that left me craving for more. Shrimpis truly knows how to elevate the humble scallop to new heights.
As for the Shrimp Ceviche, while it may have fallen a little short of your expectations, it still managed to please. I can understand your desire for a touch of lime/lemon to add that extra zing. However, the freshness of the shrimp shone through, and it was a decent appetizer that showcased the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients.
Beyond the fantastic food, Shrimpis provides an inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for a remarkable dining experience. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Whether you're enjoying an intimate dinner or gathering with friends, the atmosphere at Shrimpis is the perfect backdrop for creating lasting memories.
The service at Shrimpis deserves special recognition. The staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient. They anticipated my needs and provided quick service without ever making me feel rushed. Their knowledge and passion for the menu were evident, as they guided me through the selections and ensured that my dining experience was flawless.
In conclusion, Shrimpis is a seafood paradise that deserves the highest praise. From the exceptional Grilled Shrimp to the delightful Scallop, every dish I sampled showcased the restaurant's commitment to quality and flavor. While the White Wine Clam Pot could use a tad more intensity, it was still a satisfying offering. The Shrimp Ceviche, though it lacked a hint of lime/lemon, didn't overshadow the overall experience.
When it comes to atmosphere and service, Shrimpis excels. The inviting ambiance and attentive staff contribute to an unforgettable dining experience. If you're a seafood enthusiast seeking a place that delivers on taste, freshness, and outstanding service, look no further than Shrimpis. It's a true gem in the world of...

We visited Shrimpis Restaurant in Seminyak on 25th April, and it turned out to be one of our most enjoyable dining experiences during our Bali trip. If you’re a fan of seafood, especially shrimp, this place should definitely be on your list!
We tried two dishes: the Nasi Goreng Shrimp and the Sri Lankan Curry with Shrimp—and both were absolutely amazing. The Nasi Goreng Shrimp is a must-try! It was packed with flavor, had the perfect balance of spices, and the shrimp were fresh and cooked just right. The rice had that authentic Indonesian taste and came with a perfectly cooked egg on top—classic, delicious, and satisfying.
The Sri Lankan Curry with Shrimp was the real surprise of the evening. It had a rich, coconut-based curry sauce with just the right amount of spice and heat. The shrimp were succulent, and the overall dish was deeply comforting. Another must-try for anyone who enjoys rich and flavorful curries.
The ambience of the restaurant was wonderful—casual, tropical, and inviting, with great decor and a laid-back vibe that fits perfectly into the Seminyak dining scene. Whether you’re going for a relaxed lunch or a dinner out with friends, the setting is versatile and enjoyable.
The location is also ideal—easy to find and right in the heart of Seminyak, making it convenient if you’re exploring the area or staying nearby.
While the prices are on the higher side compared to other local restaurants, we genuinely felt that the quality of the food and the overall experience justified the cost. The portion sizes were generous, the flavors were on point, and everything tasted fresh. We also appreciated the little details like food presentation and attentive plating.
I was really tempted to try their lobster, which looked incredible from the menu and what we saw on other tables, but it was unfortunately a bit out of our budget for the night. That said, it looked like a crowd favorite and might be worth the splurge if you’re celebrating or just want to treat yourself.
The customer service was also excellent. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful with recommendations. Everything was served on time and with a smile, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
We didn’t face any issues during our visit—no complaints at all. From start to finish, it was a smooth and satisfying dining experience.
If you’re in Seminyak and craving good seafood in a great setting, I highly recommend Shrimpis Restaurant. It’s a little more upscale, but it’s absolutely worth it for the flavors, service, and experience. We’ll definitely be back—next time, hopefully for...
Read moreI’ve eaten a lot of shrimp in my life — more than my fair share — but I’ve never had shrimp like this. This isn’t just food — it’s craftsmanship. These folks farm their own shrimp, and it shows. It’s not hype. It’s not marketing. It’s respect — for the product, the process, and the plate. That kind of control over your ingredients? That’s where the magic begins. We started with the fried shrimp — four pieces of deep-fried poetry. Beer-battered to golden perfection, so crisp it crackled, and inside? A pillowy, briny tenderness that makes you close your eyes for a second and just… feel it. That’s the thing about food like this — it silences the table. No one needs to talk when it’s this good. Then came the grilled shrimp — 250 grams of fire-kissed glory. I wondered if it would be enough. It was. More than enough. Smoky, seasoned, succulent — each bite carried the kind of quiet confidence that doesn’t need to scream to impress. It just is. We tried a full lineup of oysters — six flavors, one of each. Fresh enough to taste the tide. Better, dare I say, than the ones I had in Taiwan or Singapore — and I don’t say that lightly. These were alive with character, each dressing whispering a different story. The cocktail? A Sangrila. My wife took one sip and her eyes lit up. Bright, balanced, unforgettable — like summer trapped in a glass. Now look, I won’t pretend everything was flawless. They charged me 15,000 IDR for warm water. Just a kettle full of it. That kind of thing bugs me — not because of the money, but because it breaks the spell. I needed it for my throat, not for decadence. But let’s be honest: at 715,200 IDR, this isn’t the spot for bargain-hunters. It’s for people who care — about where their food comes from, how it’s made, and how it makes them feel. You’re not just paying for the plate. You’re paying for truth. And here, truth tastes damn good. The crowd? Mostly Europeans. A few Asians with good taste. No other fellow Indians in sight — which made the whole thing feel like we’d stumbled onto something the guidebooks forgot to mention. This wasn’t just the best meal of my Bali trip. It might be one of the best meals of my life. And I’ve lived a life packed...
