A quite large restaurant with some Sundanese pre-cookeds get displayed bring an earlier joy and expectation.

My score:

Semur Jengkol, 8/10, richly spiced jengkol, you can feel the tenderness;

Tunas Bunga Pepaya, 8/10, a very small dish, may feed for 1 ½ person, but it is good and you dont taste any bitterness;

Gepuk Lembut Mitoha 8/10, size is quite ok, and it is tender;

Gurame Bakar 9/10, this is the only thing deserves a word 'great' from all menus we tried as the fish is fresh and juicy;

Sayur Lodeh, 8/10, yes nice but does not do unique punch on the taste;

Sayur Asem 8/10, nice balance between 'asam' (sour) and sweet;

Tempe Mendoan 7/10, this one is slightly lack of spice;

Perkedel Galing 8/10, rich in taste, but my goodness the oil prints on the paper shows the unhealthy choice.

I think overall is good and they are not expensive. I would say a family dining in should give certain enjoyment value. However, regardless the overall taste is good, I dont find anything great other than the...

It was crowded and difficult to find park here. Is it worth the hype? I could say yes after trying some of their menu. Basically it is an open space Sundanese restaurant with transparant kitchen in the middle, and I think they are pretty confident with their hygiene.

Jengkol crispy was one of the unique dishes I had. It was crisp like a cracker, slightly spicy and well seasoned. Ayam goreng was not so special and pretty similar to other resto. Karedok was fresh with a tasty peanut sauce. Sayur asem was enjoyable with a perfect sourness and not overly sweet at the same time. Nila pesmol was tasty considering the price, although not my favorite dish. Sambal dadakan was fresh and flavorful with a medium level of spiciness. Regarding alpukat kerok, it was a bit too sweet for me and as it was not my auspicious day to have bitter avocado.

Overall, the experience was satisfactory, particularly due to the reasonable prices of their fish-based dishes. It is recommended to dine at a clean authentic sundanese resto with...
